CHAPTER 370 - Guilt Tripped

"When you evaded me each time I tried to speak about what happened when you got kidnapped."

As much as she wanted to deny it plainly, she couldn't. He had caught her red-handed.

"I…"

"You evaded me, my love. You were angry at me. I wished to make it right but you never gave me such an opportunity. How do you think that made me feel?" 

She gulped. He had succeeded in pricking her conscience and she was hurt.

"I wasn't angry," she confessed after some minutes of silence.

"Then you did what?"

"I…" She released her breath and with it her hands and looked at him. "I did not know how to handle the issue and needed time. So I avoided it altogether."

Her clear blue eyes shone with sadness and he saw the sincerity in her words. He had mistaken it for her being angry and decided to pay her back.

In reality that was not the case.
