บท 323: Into the Abyss (1)

As Hel heaved his last breath, Ryn made her first heartbeat in her mother's womb. She was conceived during the war of the gods, and when her mother was sent into a deep abyss as a punishment for betraying her parents. Melinoia kept her pregnancy a secret and spent her time in the darkness along with the nefarious monsters imprisoned along with her. The child she gave birth to was a daughter. She raised her by killing and consuming the mana of the monsters she defeated. It also allowed her to keep her child's presence hidden from prying eyes.

Ryn was the child of darkness. Never once did she see or get exposed to the warmth of the sun. Ryn grew up under the shroud of darkness, her only companion, the eerie creatures that lurked in the abyss with her mother. Melinoia, despite her husband's absence, raised her daughter filled with love and affection. She thought Ryn to survive in a seemingly endless fight they had against the monsters.
