บท 53: Chapter 53: Birthday Gift

Tiffany Lynch blushed sheepishly. She lowered her head and rummaged in her bag. It took her a while before she finally pulled out a pale green teacup from inside and handed it to Louis Snyder, "I didn't bring much since I hurried out. This, I made it myself. I'll present it as a birthday gift to you."

She held the teacup in her hand. Its porcelain felt surprisingly cold, the chill seeped into the palm of her hand. Her movements became somewhat stiff, the inexplicable feeling of guilt made the smile at the corner of her mouth a bit rigid too.

However, Louis Snyder didn't notice any of this.

To him, Tiffany Lynch was just smiling, with his face reflecting in her eyes.

The chill from the cup seemed to carry the warmth of the other person. He couldn't help but grip it tighter and tighter.

Not until her delicate figure disappeared from his sight did Louis Snyder snap back to reality, his gaze falling on the pale green teacup in his hand.

It was beautiful, very beautiful.
