"I know you don't trust me, Han, and I don't expect you to. Think of it as me helping Rani with her vengeance. We tried justice and it didn't work, and this is the only option left for her and us. 

"We can at least work together for her, now, can't we?" Kaia asked and they just stared at him, again. 

This was getting more common now and Kaia himself was not even bothered by the open stares. Hell, if he were in their position, he would have been way too shocked to function right. but here they were. 

They were handling his presence better than he had imagined weeks ago and that was worth the effort that he had put in.
