บท 199: The stone tablet

Mike couldn't see what Stephan saw. In fact, he couldn't understand why Stephan stopped him but he guessed it had something to do with the strange altar in front of them.

"What's the matter?"

"I don't know. I think we mustn't touch anything and look for a portal but still, this place feels odd. You don't see them but there are two gargoyles by the altar and they are big enough to eat you alive. Their teeth suggest a real torture by chewing. Some knights, I guess they were some dark paladins or something like this, are stationed by the corners, ready to cut anyone in two. We must look for any inscription. These kinds of things are like events or puzzles that we need to accomplish before going ahead."
