บท 134: A peak into the past (1)

He opened his eyes at the sight of his hands holding a smartphone and the sound of an engine working around. The place was so familiar to him; he was in a metro going somewhere. It had been a long time since he was in a metro or taken one. Usually, he took a tab. The furthest memory he had of that vehicle dated years ago, before he became a streamer or even a gamer.

The smartphone in his hand had some writing. After reading some words, he understood it was a light novel. There was a time when he used to read light novels; it was his escape reality plan. Anyone would have done the same. There was something the light novels gave which reality didn't; fantasy and the dream of having everything under control.
