บท 52: Escape

I clutched the dagger to myself as is walked behind the demon, who has decided to take me on a tour outside.

You should have seen how much I threatened him before he agreed to take me outside.

According to him, the devil specifically told him not to take me out of the palace.

Nothing can be kept past the devil. He must have known I intend to escape any chance I get.

"That's the sea of flames." He points to a dry small hole near us, "you won't be able to see the sea of flames as it has not been lighted."

"Who lights it? Don't tell me it's the devil?"

"No. It lights by itself. During the blood rain that only happens once in a full circle, the sea of flames lights on its own."

"I see."

Just to be on the safer side, I pretended to be agreeing with whatever rubbish he was spurting from his mouth.

"And here—"

A red demon appeared from nowhere and blocked our path.
