บท 73: Frustrating third wheels

I watched my cute husband shriek, fearing the film we are currently watching. And I felt happy that I got the right choice of film.

Anything that can get Lee to willingly allow me to carry him, is worth my thanks.

So, I have vowed to always select horror movies whenever he feels like having a film night with me.

I will have in mind to buy more of it when I'm opportune to do so.

"Have they all gone?" Lee asked in a small voice.

Gone is the fire I most times see in his eyes when he's speaking of something or someone he doesn't like. In its place is a scared one.

I felt guilty for taking advantage of his fear. However, it wasn't enough to make me switch the film off.

"Yeah."

I answered though I'm sure the zombies are only hiding, waiting for the right opportunity to jump on the stupid human who was walking alone in the streets.

I know.

My race is stupid generally.
