Larissa thought she had moved on, but as soon as she saw Jerrod again, the feelings and the pain returned as if someone had poured cold water on her.

However, the worst feeling was, knowing that she was the only one suffering. She's the only one remembering her feelings for Jerrod, while the one making her heart ache now was laughing loudly and enjoying a dinner with his family and close friends that are obviously of the same status as him.

Larissa slowly loses her energy as rage slowly eats up her heart.

Larissa wanted to run away, but she held on, as she didn't want to show that she was on the losing end.

She doesn't want to show that she's defeated by showing her weakness to him.

If he could move on easily, she needs to show that she's not that affected by him anymore.

She needs to show that her life didn't revolve only around him when, in reality, it was.
