บท 193: Babymoon's Plan

"You can't be serious, can you, Will? Drake tried to poison you? Seriously?" asked Marion, incredulous. William had explained and proven it over and over again, but she still doubted what he had said all along.

"Why would I lie to you, Marion. She even seemed to mean it. Is she angry that I'm the lucky guy who managed to have you?" William teased, this time no longer looking as serious as a few minutes ago. It made Marion roll her eyes.

"You are! Are you teasing me? I'm taking your story too seriously."

"I'm not playing around with that one."

Marion seemed to think for a moment.

"What was Drake's purpose in doing that? Was it an order from that demon woman? Why would Drake so lightly carry out an order that clearly betrays you? Isn't he a man of loyal friends?"

"I'm wondering the same thing."

Neither of them got any answers to the questions lingering in their heads, but only curiosity that grew like a snowball.
