บท 30: Spell of Longing

Marion was shocked at his father's brutal attitude. Either because of a father's jealousy because his daughter has been owned by another man, or it could be more complex.

Bad memories from the past, must be one of the causes of Jeremiah's aggressive attitude even toward his daughter.

"Doctor Jefferson, wait!" Marion followed the footsteps of the woman who rushed into her room after successfully calming the suddenly impulsive patient. Meanwhile, the patient's daughter kept pestering her with questions that she couldn't say because Jeremiah's message was clear enough for her.

Marion mustn't know much of what they've been hiding.

"Doctor Jefferson, please ... tell me what happened to my father. You've looked after him for a dozen years, it's impossible not to know anything." Marion even almost begged and crouched at the feet of a woman who was not far from her father's age.
