บท 27: Officially Became Lovers

"What's with that face of yours, Drake? Do you have a stomach ache from your cooking?" Marion teased, who then laughed at the expression on the man in front of her. "Look ... you're turning pale. You're so cute!"

Drake rubbed his chest. He was relieved that Marion was just playing a prank on him. He had thought that Marion really said what she said a few minutes ago. 

Damn it! He nearly died of a heart attack, if only he were human ... in fact, he might still live for hundreds of years, or maybe thousands, or never even grow old and die. No need to ask why, right? 

He then imagined that if he had to be with Marion, did that mean he had to make Marion like him? What if the result is like Eleanor, his lover who died when he gave her his blood as a serum so that the woman survived and was free from her pain?
