When Mu Qingqing saw that the man was dead, she looked back at her sister and smiled amusedly. "That was a nice shot, Yueyue. You make me proud." 

Bai Liyue gave a small nod, but her hands were shaking, and her heart was heavy. This was the first time she had ever taken someone's life, and it was not an easy feeling to deal with. She couldn't shake off the guilt and fear that was starting to consume her. 

Sensing her sister's distress, Mu Qingqing hugged her tightly and whispered, "It's okay, Yueyue. In this battle, it's either kill or be killed. You did what you had to do to protect yourself and me. I'm proud of you."

"Don't think about how you killed that man. Think of how you saved me," she added. 

"Yes, yes," Bai Liyue gave her a shaky nod.
