บท 185: What a hypocrite!

Si Jingyun's nostrils flared as he glared at Chen Ziyue.

He couldn't believe that she wasn't wearing his ring. That was their engagement ring and a sign that she belonged to him. How dare she remove that ring and wear some other ring in its place? Anger thrummed through his veins and he couldn't stop himself from grabbing her hand which was right across him, on the table. 

"Where is my ring?" he demanded through gritted teeth. 

Bai Liyue was surprised by his action but when she heard his question, a careless smile came across his face. "Oh! So you just noticed... I really think you need to get your eyes checked, Mr. Si."

"Don't play with me, Chen Ziyue," he hissed deeply. "Where is my ring?"

"I don't know. I don't care," she shrugged carelessly and snatched her hand back from his hold. Next, under his narrowed angry eyes, she took a napkin placed on the table and wiped her hand as if her hands were dirtied by his touch.
