'This place feels ominous.' Neveah's wolf pointed out as they took a turn down another cell hallway.

'It is Menarx's district, all kinds of criminals have graced these halls, and not many left as the living...it should.' Neveah thought back to her wolf.

Neveah had not gone so far down the hallway when she sensed something approaching from behind, Neveah whirled around just in time to catch sight of a lone wisp of shadow swirling in the air.

As Demevirld's influence over Neveah grew stronger, Neveah's awareness and comprehension of dark magic grew even more distinct. More than sensing it around, she could now see it vividly, just like she had seen the traces of a spell in the water source of Fort Scabbard. 

The wisp of shadow twirled and spun, as though performing an intricate dance and Neveah just watched it in silence.

It moved right past Neveah, emitting an ominous whispering hiss as it disappeared from sight.
