King Jian's kiss was intense and bruising, deliciously so. 

His tongue explored every inch of Neveah's mouth, tasting and caressing in a manner that was somehow still so tender, it stirred a pool of desire in Neveah's lower belly.

Neveah could taste a tinge of blood, it could have been hers or King Jian's, it was hard to tell... even harder to care when the sting pushed Neveah deeper into that abyss of desire.
