The sun had long set in the royal palace of the Eclipse Domain, yet a night that should have come with a peaceful atmosphere met many wide awake and deeply troubled.

Amongst such people was the Prince Royal of the Eclipse Domain, Alessio Terran Lothaire.

Alessio lay awake, lost in thoughts, thoughts he could not even begin to fathom yet they deprived him of a good night's rest and had for many nights.

Truly, Alessio could not recall the last time he had a restful sleep, his nights had been filled with restless tossing and turning in bed, accompanied by a heavy heart and deep regrets.

But for some reason, this night was far worst.

Alessio had Awakened with a pulsing ache in his heart, one he knew was owed to the mate bond.

Alessio had been like this for the past few hours, staring up at his ceiling, his mind occupied with a multitude of thoughts.
