บท 155: Beyond The Inner Cavern (Ch.155)

"Xenon?" Neveah called as she stepped into the cave after a treacherous climb up the steep mountain.

All the while, when Xenon scaled up the mountain with Neveah clinging to him, the black dragon had made it appear so easy.

But after a few slips that quite nearly sent Neveah tumbling down to the depths below, Neveah understood nothing was ever as easy as it looked.

Now, Neveah had finally arrived within the cave. She glanced around the wide outer cavern,

Everything was exactly as Neveah remembered it from when last she was here, 

The pile of furs... Neveah's history books piled at the side and even the caved in wall from where Xenon had been slammed into by King Jian, everything was just the same.

Xenon had moved nothing out of place and Neveah guessed he did not have the time or leisure to, not when he had spent the past few days worrying for her.

"He is a rare soul..." Neveah murmured to herself, a small smile settling on her lips.
