A sudden tug in her inner consciousness sent Neveah's eyes snapping open, sitting up on her bed, Neveah let out a quiet yawn.
"It's not even dawn yet, waking me up by this time is just cruel." Neveah thought to her wolf, knowing where the sudden tug had come from.
"It has been over a week since we arrived here, I have to stretch." Neveah's wolf thought back to her in a pointed tone.
"Stretch?! You mean go out for a run?! Here in the dragon's keep?" Neveah whispered aloud, earning herself a scoff from her wolf.
"Yes Veah, that is exactly what I mean. You promised never to suppress me again, this is suppressing." Neveah's wolf reminded accusingly.
"I..." Neveah began but trailed off, having no words to defend herself, she bit her lip guiltily, the words of her wolf ached her heart, especially since Neveah knew how right her wolf was.
