"Hm…? So what?" Ethan murmurs, relaxed in the water with me in his arms, sleepy and comfy which made him drag his words a little, clearly slowing down for the day.

"About that bite…" I start, unsure how to be polity about this, so I stop trying: "Why did you bite me? Is that a condition? Do all demons have that? How often do you need to bite? Is it a kind of feeding or marking? Is that why you went with that fox lady?"
