[147] Who Would Get Her In The End? 

"It's a potent poison. Who would dare…" 

"It's your mother, Queen Rabecca, Your Majesty. But it's not only me, she has done the exact thing to other Queens as well. Or why would the King become so cold even to his own son?" Queen Ada's voice quivered. She had been living in constant fear when the King had announced his avocation. 

Soon after she was poisoned and house arrested. She would have died in that dark corner of the castle if not all people were busy with the coronation. 

Unlike what she had thought, King Qualis didn't react to her words that much. Rather he looked at her with that serene eyes of him. 

"Lady, some things are better kept in the dark." King Qualis Guzzen then bypassed Queen Ada and left the hallway. 

Queen Ada thought he had ignored her but in reality, he had strengthened the security around her. The moment she would give birth would be the day she would be forced to leave.
