บท 142: No Clue

Margaret shook her head. "Honestly, I dunno, son... I have no clue who they are..."

"Mother, can you summon the golden feathers again?" he asked.

"Why?"

"Maybe the feathers can tell us where those men hide Irene," Brent said wistfully.

"I'm sorry, son. The golden feathers can only show us the happenings in this place, but it can't trace where those men went afterward and where they hides Irene," Margaret replied sadly.

Brent's heart sank in despair. He closed his eyes for a moment.

Margaret saw the severity of suffering on her son's face. She placed her hand on his back, rubbing it gently, comforting him. "We will find Irene somehow..." she murmured, trying to cheer him up.

Brent stood there in the middle of the forest, trying to think what to do next.

Mother and son have proven that the driver was innocent, thanks to the golden feathers' help. He was no longer a suspect to them.
