A three-story mansion at the end of Oak Street was filled with activity. Madam Margaret instructed the maids to clean the entire house, change the curtains and polish the floors.

She already instructed the cook to prepare special dishes for tonight's family gathering.

When Carl informed her through the phone that Brent is finally coming home for a visit, her heart leaped with joy.

She quickly informs her other children living in other places near the city that their brother is going to visit the family house tonight.

A small hope was burning in her heart. She knew that he might still be upset with her regarding what happened a century ago.

But she and her mother did it to put an end to the dark times.

If her son still hates her, he won't come tonight for a visit.
