"Yan," she says when we break our kiss, our lips still touching each other as she speaks, "I hope you don't mind that I ordered for us. The food is delicious here because the chefs take their time, but I don't want to wait long. I promise you're going to love it."
"Sweetheart, I don't care what you feed me. We can even skip dinner and go straight to dessert, tear that dress off of you. You look absolutely tasty."
She laughs, the sound so melodic in my ears, enough to give me a semi, and her cheeks flush. She's been smiling since she walked in and she looks incredibly radiant. I don't know why she's so happy, but something good must've happened today.
"That would be nice, but I'm actually starving, Yan, so I need to be fed first."
"I can feed you something."
Riri eyes me and then smacks my arm playfully. "You're so dirty. I love it."
