I walk past her in search of my wife and then I'm frozen in place when I see Riri in the leather armchair with blood all over her. The light dress that I saw her wear earlier today when she left the house is now red with blood on it. Her hands and cheeks are also bloodied. Whose? Hers? I hope to fuck not! She trembles as she hugs herself, her face so pale and she looks so distraught. 

Her eyes slowly lift to me and when she sees me, tears flood down her cheeks. "Yan…"
