The Soul Eater's Possession Characters
Since the world of Death's Lover and The Soul Eater's Possession is the same, here are the characters of TSEP (The Soul Eater's Possession) so you will be familiar and will not be confused.
Also, this is for you to not read the other book if you wish it. If you do wish to read it, do read the synopsis on the next chapter after this. :D
1. Devin – A Soul Eater who stayed in the human world because his mother cursed him of being a Soul Eater as punishment for killing his younger brother, Nevin. With him looking for a cure to his curse for more than 100 years, the cold Soul Eater then found himself saving an old man and his granddaughter, only to find out that he will soon melt for the human girl once she turned into a beautiful young lady with wit and beauty (soon his wife, Angeal).
2. Angeal – The Soul Eater's Possession, the baby saved by the Soul Eater. Once deaf and mute, but because of Devin's sacrifice, she was given the chance to speak. She studies in a university as a Creative Writing student and wants to write. She inherited this love and passion for writing from her father, Leon, a professor in the university.
3. Arvid – Half angel, half human, son of Edwin (the Unmovable God). Same age as Angeal's and is her best friend since the day they were born. Arvid was firstly in love with Angeal until he fell in love with Frey, their childhood friend as well. He dreamt of becoming a good fighter just like his dad and since he was a kid, he always trained and fought alongside Edwin as his goal is to be a fighter with a name. He is often called a lunkhead by Frey. He has a good sense of humor along with his good looks. He is also best friends with his father, Edwin.
4. Edwin – Referred to as Kingdom of Elysion's The Unmovable God. He is one of the most powerful angels of the kingdom that had led all of the angels to war in the previous years. Since Devin had moved to the mortal realm, Devin personally sought for him and asked him a favor to go with him since if he goes out of control, he and Ivar can take care of him and control him. He loves his son dearly and is sweet to everyone. He acts as Angeal's uncle.
5. Ivar – A mischievous personal servant of Devin. He loves to tease him and does not fear his master's condescending tone and mean demeanor. He is only flirtatious to Gwen and only loves her dearly. He is extremely handsome and is overly protective of his best friend and always real talks him whenever Devin thinks impulsively. He is also a great fighter, but not as great as Edwin. He usually controls Devin with the use of his paper charms to seal his powers away once Edwin subdues Devin physically by pinning him down.
6. Martha – The head chamberlain of the mansion. She is Gwen's mother, and is very good at everything especially at cooking and handiwork. She is overly protective of everyone in the mansion and acts as everyone's mother. She overly worries when everything happens in the mansion and to the people who live in it. She cares for everyone deeply.
7. Gwen – Martha's daughter. Incredibly beautiful and acts like Angeal's big sister. She is mischievous and naughty—which makes her a perfect match for her lover, Ivar. She loves to joke around and is blunt, but she worries as much as her mother worries about the people in the mansion. She loves to party and she loves food and shopping for clothes.
8. Frey – Angeal's and Arvid's childhood friend. She never fell in love until she did with Arvid. They then became lovers after Angeal turned Arvid down and after Arvid almost fooled around with another girl. Her dream is to become a therapist that's why she is studying psychology in the same university as Angeal's. She is smart and sweet and is totally empathic to people around her.
9. Arlo – Frey's and Angeal's high school classmate. He is also considered as Angeal's first crush (in high school) and first love (in college). He is also studying psychology with Frey in the same university. Like Frey, he is kind and gentle—always liked by the girls because he is also the varsity player in basketball of their university. He always put everyone first before him that is why Dharvey, the school's notorious flirt and playgirl, fell in love with him when he saved her from almost suiciding by jumping off of the school's rooftop.
10. Dharvey – half human, half succubus (demon). She is extremely beautiful and sexy, all of the boys regardless of age and class are in awe of her physique (because of her demonic prowess). She is often flirtatious and she often loved to party and have sex just so she could alter her sad thoughts about her depression and past. Often seemed to be a jokester, but is actually a sweetheart despite her sharp tongue. Fell in love at first sight with Arlo. Angeal, Arlo, Frey, and Arvid were her first friends, but when her feelings grew deeply for Arlo, she controlled him to have sex with her, which prompted the fall of their friendship with everyone else. However, she works in secret with Ava to help them against the people of the Kingdom of Gehenna.
11. Levin – Devin's second brother. He is always referred to as the "in-between" of the three brothers because he doesn't have an extremity like Devin (overly domineering and cold) and Nevin (overly naughty and mischievous). He is considered as the Kingdom of Elysion's Love's Overseer, and is also one of the great fighters of the kingdom.
12. Nevin – The third brother of Devin and Levin. He is seen as the most insecure among the three brothers, but is actually the favorite of Heraleen, the Almighty Seprahim, the queen, their mother. Often misunderstood as the villain, but is actually just struggling with personal conflicts. He then soon softened and wanted to help his brothers in the fight against the Kingdom of Gehenna.
13. Ava – Once a girlfriend of Shadow, and once a worker for the Kingdom of Gehenna. She is often told as the female version of Devin. She has another persona called "The Crazed Raven"—a woman who changes personality once she holds her black blade. She is often maniacal and she doesn't show mercy on whoever comes her way when she holds her blade. Levin reminds her of who she is—the woman whom he loves whenever her real self would get lost during the possession of her second counterpart.
