He didn't expect the boy in front of him to pull out so many pouches.

He only wanted to ask where he got so many gold coins, but the boy pulled out more pouches instead.

He was completely blown off by Shiro's ability in giving him the gold coins, regardless of the amount.

In fact, the old man had a lot of questions lingering in his mind.

Like where did Shiro get these many gold coins?

How did he store them?

Was this related to his divine powers?

The old man remained quiet for a while. He was still in a state of shock after all.

Then, he reached out for one pouch and opened it.

At first, he thought Shiro was only bluffing, but it seemed like those pouches did contain gold coins after all.

"Fine, I'll accept you as my disciple. But, I'll only take 10,000 gold coins as I demanded earlier."

Shiro smiled. "Okay."

All his anger vanished into thin air the moment the old man said this.
