The squirrels that we had found in the beginning had disappeared by now. Somehow, the cat would go out and find some berries or fruits that kept us going. Water wasn't a big issue as long as we were careful, so we were living comfortably!

It was a good, slow life. Almost like one of those slow-life novels that Ivan kicked a big fuss about a while back when we were living in Ussera. I read a few of them and they were pretty nice, the premise was the same in most of them.

It either took place in a farm where some super powerful man somehow decides to farm well. The character somehow snags a demon lord, or what ever that is and then also snags up a beautiful princess, all in a farm? Like what the fuck? Who's running the country. To be honest, I never understood them. And to top it off, Ivan's fuss was always a plethora of complains for the lack of blood, death and schemes.
