"We were late! Should we jump in?" Tiny said from behind me. We hid behind a metal crate as Ivan and Alex conversed with some soldiers, maybe the ones who weren't from here. Those chumps hadn't realized Ivan's cover, but that won't last long.

"I don't think he'd like us to," Vanessa answered and Qiu Zan and I nodded.

Interjecting now would just make things worse. We'll have to see how things play out.
