บท 147: - Arena Combat (2)

"Today, a new challenger faces the champion of the arena. In his twelfth fight of the fifteen that he has been sentenced to, looking to fight another day, stands the champion. Mogr'on, Kinslayer! And the challenger, hailing from the numbers of the human enemy, first slayer of a Nightblade in years, Gus Braye!"

As Gus stepped out of the small room wielding the spear, he was greeted to a collection of boos and jeering from the crowd, with only a small amount of the crowd actually cheering for him. It seemed that even though Mogr'on had killed other Bloody Dawn along with the Bru'uka that he led in this betrayal of sorts, most of the crowd would still rather support him over the enemy that was standing against him in the arena.
