บท 118: Future Past Future

Mariana could not believe her ears. Such a task was not merely daunting, it was nigh impossible, and to think that she would have to spend countless lifetimes riding and sailing all over the world and seeking out witches…there had been, and would be so many witches. This was horrifying.

This was beyond unacceptable.

Still, if this was the only way to be together with Daniel, she was willing to take this opportunity. The woman seemed so strong and capable that the pirate queen could hardly argue with her.

She went back into the hall, where the chief representative and the pirate king were waiting for her. They both had solemn expressions on their faces, as if they were both very sorry about something that had just happened.

"Is the naked woman telling the truth?" Mariana asked.

Both men nodded sadly.

Then the pirate queen turned her attention back towards the naked woman. She looked at the beautiful and vicious being with a pain in her heart.
