Vilian sternly said, looking at the man who was now lying on the bed, his eyes closed and facing the ceiling, "Mr. Astrel, it's not something funny. How could you stay as if it doesn't matter? Oh! It indeed does not matter to you. After all, this is something that's happening to me, so why would you care?" She said the latter, lowering her voice. Astrel snapped his eyes open coldly looking at her but hummed as if he was saying to continue the boring story.
Vilian sighed. Giving up already, she took the bathrobe that was lying floor. Walking towards the bathroom, she entered and put it in the laundry to wash it.
"Mr. Astrel, could you please lend me your phone to take a call? I think I left the phone in my home," she asked, her voice echoing coming out of the bathroom. Looking for the man the bed was left alone not finding the man, "What the hell? Where did he vanish? Wasn't he there just a while ago?" she mumbled, not finding the man in the room, and turned to her side.
"Looking for me, little kitten?" spoke a voice behind her that had her eyes go wide. Nervously, she turned around, gulping softly to see a shadow behind her, handsomely leaning on the entice doorframe. The man who had been leaning emerged from the shadows where he had been waiting for her. 'How did he come here? Wasn't he on the bed?' thought Vilian confusingly. His handsome features looked darker than usual because of the lack of light where they were now.
"What did I say?" he tilted his head.
"What did you say?" she turned the question to him that had him smile, a smile that made her scared. She took a step back when he came close to her. It didn't stop him from cornering her, and her back hit the wall behind her. He raised his hand towards her face, and she closed her eyes, scared from the cold gaze he gave her. She shuddered when his fingers trail down from her temple and her jaw and neck. Her golden blonde hair was left open.
"You want me to remind you?" He asked stepping closer that had her turn her face away from him and his words vibrated on the skin of her neck. His eyes continued to look at her which made her uncomfortable, and he very much enjoyed her response. Like a hunter playing with his prey that would draw out his pistol anytime soon. She felt his breath fanning on her neck, tickling and making her feel self-conscious of the closeness they were sharing.
"Mr. As-"
"Tch... tch... What was it again?" For some strange reason, Astrel didn't like her addressing him formally. It felt weird. "Didn't I say you not to address me like that?" he asked as he leaned forward, placing one hand on the wall next to her head. As seconds passed, Vilian kept silent and felt her head go dizzy with the sudden attack and her eyes go blurry.
"Breathe," he whispered gently above her, tracing his finger over her jaw to calm her.
"Whom do you wanna take a call to?" she heard him ask. Astrel took a sharp breath feeling his fangs throb at her proximity.
He was regretting touching her. He could feel her fresh blood flow under his fingertips when he placed his hand on her skin.
"Mia, your cousin. It is ok, if-if you're not willing to, but I must get back to my home. Lily might be panicked at this moment realizing my absence," The way she spoke, the way she looked, it was all too innocent, making him go crazy to take a sip of her blood, and that thought drove his fangs to throb more yearning for her blood. It had been too long since he last drank blood from a woman this innocent. Not to forget, she was a human in that.
Astrel stepped away and gave her some space. Closing his eyes, he gathered his control, but it was slipping away.
"M- Astrel?" Vilian glanced at him to see a deep furrow forming on his face now like he was in pain. She gasped when he opened his eyes. They were glowing darker and his fangs were quite visible as he looked at her like she was his prey.
Vilian stood there as if the ground was not letting her go. She didn't know what to do and was scared to move a single muscle in her body under his unblinking cold vision. Goosebumps formed all over her body making her shiver out in fear.
She felt like running but it would only make him chase after her like hunting prey. It was something that she had not expected. The idea of him being a vampire had slipped out of her mind just like everything else, but now that he was here in such a state everything came back to her sense making her tremble in fear. This was neither a Tv series nor a fantasy romance novel of hers. For crying out loud it was happening in front of her real life. She saw Astrel take a step forward towards her making her clutch the side of her gown tightly. Her sweaty hands crumpled the sides of her gown wetting it.
One step was followed by another until he once again stood right in front of her. She tilted her head back to meet his enchanting glowing blue eyes as they stared for mere seconds. He placed one of his hands beside her head on the wall making her gulp the lump of saliva forming in her mouth and the other hand came to settle on her collarbone. She felt the warmth of his fingertips on her frozen skin.
The look on his face was unnerving but it felt like he was angry. Did she offend him in anyways or was it that he was preparing himself to suck blood from her? The thought of a vampire sinking fanks in her had never occurred to her when mentioning the night creatures but now that she thought, it made her go pale in white.
"Are you going to dr-drink bl-blood from me..." she asked, stuttering hesitantly, and heard him chuckle.
She tried moving away at a slow pace so that he didn't notice it but not soon did he place his hand which was on her neck behind her waist circling and trapping her in his small cage.
