Two days flew just like the dust in the air. Lady Ellen took the required measurements of Vilian the previous day and today she is to come back with the evening party dress with the pretty accessories to go along with the dress.
At the time of mid-day feeling the bird song in her soul, letting her heart into a steady tempo just to feel so good, Vilian was enjoying a luxurious nap on the egg chair in her room patio.
The breeze was steadily touching her soft baby-like skin gently, and she began to fall asleep unknowingly morphing into the metaphor of dreamland just like that.
*Knock* *Knock*
There wasn't a response.
*Knock* *Knock*
Still, there wasn't a response from the person who was inside the room.
"Mi'lady..." called out Lily dragging her voice.
"Please don't blame me for barging into the room. I knocked on the door god knows how many times. You never respo... ohhh my sleeping beauty is asleep..." said Lily walking towards the sleeping figure who was taking a nap not knowing of her surroundings.
Lily slowly tapped Vilian's nose with her index finger. A stupid grin was hanging on the young maid's face. She would always try some new tricks when it comes to waking up her lady.
"My love, my darling..." she whispered into Vilian's ears which were reddened due to exposure to the coldness out on the patio.
"Hmm... Monseigneur... I love you with all my heart, with all my soul, and with all my body...." said Vilian groggily in return as if confessing her love feelings.
"Lady Vilian!!! What are you saying?"
"Lily? What are you... doing here? Where is Monseigneur?" she asked confusingly still in the sleepy daze. "Uhh... not again"
"What? Who is Monseigneur? Who were you confessing your love to? Are you finally in love?" questions after questions came from Lily like a mother hen who would be in concern.
Widening her lips smiling idiotically Vilian hit her head herself for speaking about her dream. It was like she was lovestruck.
"Is it really that you're in love or are we still in the fantasy world of your books Mi'lady?" Questioned Lily confusingly.
"Lily... you better have a good reason to wake me up from my sweet nap..."
"Of course I do Mi'lady. Have you forgotten about today's evening party that you are to attend?"
Startling Lily Vilian stood up as if the world was about to crumble apart.
"Oh Good Lord!! how could such an important thing slip out of my mind? Thank you so much sweetheart!!" said Vilian and gave a kiss on Lily's cheeks. "Your such a life savior." The kiss made the maid blush hard.
"Mi'lady... I think you have to stop reading those weird books. You are starting to act up so weirdly that it makes me worry."
Turning a deaf ear Vilian ran towards the bathroom in a hurry.
"Uff such an idiot you are. How could you forget such a thing Vili?" mumbled Vilian to herself.

"....Uhh... Mi'lady? Lady Ellen is waiting for your presence in the drawing room. It would be better if you'd be quick enough to reach down there in a while. She's been there for more than fifteen minutes..." alerted Lily hesitantly from the other side of the bathroom door.
"No worries Lily. I'll be there. Till then say someone to entertain her." she said in a hurry while freshening her face with water and dabbing it with a clean white towel.
Coming out of the bathroom she searched for a better set of clothes to go on with but could find nothing in return. As she couldn't she went out in search of Lily with her groggy outfit and her messy hair. Her appearance was a mess.
But to her wail, her maid was nowhere to be seen. Walking a little more she saw two women speaking to each other in fine extravagant gowns so beautifully.
Her eyes widened. Turning behind she was about to go to her room in the thoughts of not getting caught by them in such a state. Taking her footsteps hurriedly she went faster but her face lit up to see who was standing there ahead of her.
"Marc..." she called out running towards him which made the man who was looking in the opposite direction turn towards her. Her speedy steps made the man stand still observing the lady's sudden unusual behavior for she was never to be seen in such a manner.
Vilian came near him hooking her hands on his and dragged him into her room shutting the door tight.
The man in front of her frowned harder in confusion for he did not understand a thing of what nonsense the lady was doing and why was he dragged into her room out of nowhere.
"Mi'lady? may I know what was this all about?"
"shushhh... lower your voice. She's gonna come in." she covered his mouth to not make any other noise. Still confused Marcus looked at the soft fair hand which was on his lips, then back at her and nodded as if he understood.
Sighing out Vilian spoke,
"Do you know where Lily is?" asked Vilian. Marcus shook his head as a gesture of 'No'.
"I saw Lady Ellen out there with another woman. Do you know why the other woman is here?" Vilian questioned again. This time Marcus nodded.
"Why don't you speak?" Asked Vilian tilting her head like a bird would do.
"Because it was you who shushed me, Mi'lady. If you don't mind may I know the reason for why I was dragged into your room Mi'lady?"
"Ohh... I'm sorry. I really didn't mean to be unladylike in manner. I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable or disturbed you but I need a help from you." she said embarrassingly.
"Oh no Mi'lady. It's not what I meant to say, but I was quite confused, What may I be in help of you? please let me know."
"Marc... would you please help me get an outfit to meet Lady Ellen?"
Marcus was bewildered by what the lady in front of him was asking him to do.
"Please Marc... it would be a big help. I know you are not supposed to speak to me, but please help me with this one time. Lily is nowhere to be seen." pleaded Vilian which made the young man nod helplessly in a daze.
He firstly looked at what Vilian was dressed in which made the girl kinda embarrassed so she cleared her throat and started to lead him the way to her wardrobe.
"Mi'lady you should wear this on till I get you a suitable dress to put on," he said giving her a long woolen dark blue robe that was enough for her to cover herself fully.
"Thank you Marcus" she replied and grabbed the robe in a hurry and went into the bathroom to wear it on.
Marcus went through Vilian's wardrobe which had different types of dresses. It's been nine long years since he last took a look into her room. Back then it was quite a lot shabbier. Though this room was small and beautiful, it wasn't like any other rooms that were present in the mansion.
