บท 74: A Demon Named Love

The pain was numbing. It was not the first time a regular bullet had hit Eros, but it still hurt. Next to him, Ramiel wheezed and coughed. 

"Fucking bitch," she gasped. "I will shred you to pieces for what you did to Angelica…." 

"Hmph, tough words for someone so badly injured. Maybe I shall release you from your misery." 

Ruby aimed the gun at Ramiel. She pulled the trigger, but nothing happened because she had secured it earlier. 

"Boom."

She laughed like a small child. Then she moved the gun to target Angelica instead. 

Ramiel cried out with gritted teeth, hatred in her eyes. Alas, she was severely injured and lying tied on the floor. All she could do was wiggle in an effort to move forward. 

Suddenly, Coral began to wail inhumanly. Emotions of grief and rage swept over all pack members. Eros sat dazed for a while, trying to focus on himself. Ruby seemed to be quicker, judging by her exclamation. 

"What the-?"
