The two boys, the ones who had the two catastrophes, weren't actually able to control or command the two of them.

The turtle was doing what it wanted and after those attacks from the two of them, he was in a frenzied state so there was no way anyone could control such a being.

The mantis was a creature of great origin and was almost an embodiment of pureness. There was no way he would succumb to any mortal creatures that were OP: primarily lowly creatures. And accepting commands from such beings would be the second last thing they would do.

Bob was different though. Very different from the two of them.

He had respect for his master like no other. And this respect was far more than one could understand.

The respect he had for her, could be very well compared to her first slave, the corrupted lich Morris.
