บท 86: Shalltear's New Lord and Camp Half Blood again.
Now that Shalltear was out cold and Nyx pushed her off, the girls were looking at the vampire with curiosity. Raynare crossed her arms as she saw the vampire snoring.
"So this is what happens when vampires drink your blood?"
"Looks like it. All she drank was one drop, but even now she seems to be getting stronger."
Zesshi who had received Kurayami's mana was still processing it, but she was interested in the outcome.
"So who is stronger between us?"
Kurayami pointed at Shalltear.
"You are strong, but you need more training. You and Raynare both use scythes and Death Energy so why don't you two train together. I think you would gain something from taking some lessons from Raynare."
Raynare and Zesshi glanced at each other so Raynare decided to agree. If Zesshi was going to be the mother to Kurayami's kids she wanted her to be as strong as possible.
"I can do that for the new girl. Even though I don't want kids personally yet, if she wants them she should be strong enough to not hold them back."
Zesshi shrugged.
"I am confident in my lineage. Still, when will the vampire wake up?"
She pulled out her Rubix cube from her pocket and began to fiddle with it. Kurayami looked over Shalltear and found the answer.
"I have no idea. It could be soon or even a full day. It seems that her body is working on overdrive to deal with the power I gave her. Just give her some time to sleep."
Nyx got off his lap as she knew that with his mother's power, nothing about him would be simple. A vampire drinking his blood might make them explode or die. Only powerful vampires like Shalltear could handle it.
"I expected that outcome. I am sure that any vampire would fight tooth and nail to receive the same blessing she got. Still, 3 months is not a lot of time. What can we do for fun?"
Kurayami knew that those days would go by quickly. Annabeth had an idea as Percy had called her a few hours ago after he talked with his mom who was pregnant.
"I got an idea. Percy actually invited me and you to go on a quest with him. Something about how monsters are more active and that Kronus is about to rise. That is what Nyro is made of right?"
Numerous eyes opened up as Nyro was curious about what he was made of. Zesshi's focus went on to those eyes as anything about this New World was interesting."
"He is. This is a good chance to take a moment to relax. Any news on Toilet breath?"
Annabeth chuckled as they kept his name like that.
"Well, he got a girlfriend. One of Clarise's sisters, the prettiest one."
Esdeath, Raynare, Akeno, and Kuroka who had seen those girls laughed at the idea. Esdeath thought of Ares who had become a better father these days.
"What does Ares say that one of his daughters is dating Sea Weed breath?"
Kurayami shook his head as Ares was only a good father to his favorite kids.
"He does not know. He has been putting all his time and effort into raising Jack, Clarise, and his two new babies. He got those two Fallen Angel twins pregnant and Azrael forced him to be a father to the babies. I think their names were Ellisa and Nissa. They have been dragging him around on dates and stuff."
Annabeth did not know that at all.
"HAHAHA, Azrael forced commitment from Greek God. What would people say?"
Kuroka hugged Kurayami's neck as she looked at his face.
"Alright then. What will you do? Go on that quest for fun or do something else?"
Grayfia also had an event to go to.
"Master, this is actually a Devil meeting going on soon. The Great King faction wants the Satan faction to allow them on the Moon. They want to gain the money and resources that have been making the status of the 4 Great Satans rise."
Latia also had an idea that her uncle told her about.
"Oh, my uncle wanted me to go as well. We are engaged, but we still are not married. He kind of wants you to hurry up."
Kurayami also had that to do which increased his plans. He did not plan to rush it, but it was good to get ready.
"That is also important. How about this, I will go on the quest just for a relaxing trip. Maybe tame another Greek creature and then I will go to the meeting. Is it soon?"
Grayfia nodded.
"It's next month. I think you got more than enough time to have some fun with this quest? I doubt it will last longer than a day or two with your power unless you go slow to enjoy it."
He looked at the girls as he wanted to see their ideas. Those were two events that were going to happen so he was interested. Nyx thought about it as she had a naughty idea.
"How about we break out all the prisoners of Tartarus and let them run wild on Earth?"
Kurayami thought that sounded fun.
"That is an idea."
Natsume who heard that was not as kind as she used to be. She remembered the talk they had in London about power making you less human. She had it worse as Griffon was a Qinoqi and the curse marks that had appeared on her body made her mature.
Despite that, she was not a fan of ceaseless slaughter.
"Is there a need to do that?"
Nyx shook her head.
"No, it's just something for fun. I am an Evil God you know."
Natsume looked at Griffon on her shoulder who liked the idea. The little Qionqi was licking his lips with the idea of eating souls.
"I now know what you all mean by power blinding you. We don't have to act like savage beasts you know."
Nyx rolled her eyes.
"Fine, way to ruin my fun."
Lavinia shook her head at both of them.
"Kurayami, is that fine with you? Just letting all the prisoners lose to rain chaos."
He nodded.
"Anything to give the humans a wake-up call. Don't the Americans finally go to the Moon next week? They will just get the worst land as we lost our monopoly over it."
Amaterasu also had an event in mind.
"Oh, in two months the Principle Clans are going to have a large gathering. They want to invite you and Akneo as you are Himejima. Now that I mention it, what happened to that guy Satanael?"
Ophis and Kurayami shook their heads. They had searched for him the moment they came back but found nothing. Ophis sighed as she was still looking for that worm.
"I did not manage to find him at all. I made sure to search everywhere, but if we can't find him it means one of two things. The scary one is that his new master is strong enough to hide him from us, or that he retreated into the other dimension. Whichever that is."
Kurayami stood up and made a hologram with all their idea.
"Well, no use looking for him now. Either way, we can't find him so we just got to be ready. As for what we can do at this time, I have decided what to do. We will do all of them. When is the quest starting Annabeth?"
"Tomorrow."
Kurayami looked around at the girls.
"Who wants to come with me?"
Zesshi raised her hand.
"I will go. I want to see more of this world?"
Raynare, Esdeath, and Akeno all looked at each other as they were the first to know Kurayami. They still wanted to go with him.
"We are going."
Kuroka also wanted to go.
"I will go. I can just stay as a cat."
Grayfia shook her head as she was going to be busy.
"I won't be able to go this time master. I and Latia want to train a little more together. I also got to keep Walburga in line as she is still learning. Walburga sighed as Grayfia was her superior.
"Yes ma'am."
Latia agreed with Grayfia.
"As we are both Devils, we can learn best from each other. Sorry."
Kurayami shook his head.
"Don't say sorry. There is nothing wrong with having your own plans."
Nyx also was not interested.
"I got to head home to take my castle. I think I can compress it or combine it with this mansion. I also want to see if I can grow my appel here. Should be cursed enough."
Kurayami smiled as she was a foodie.
"Fine, go ahead. It will cost you though."
"Oh really. I don't got money(lie), so I will pay with my body."
For the first time, she kissed someone and Kurayami before she backed away.
"That was interesting. Bye."
She teleported in a puff of shadows as she wanted to take her home here. Amaterasu also was not going to go.
"I haven't been home in a while so I need to do my job again. I will be back by the time you are done. Can I get a kiss though?"
She walked up to Kurayami before giving him a deep kiss. She also squeezed his arms and muscles before she backed away.
"Have fun."
She teleported away in a ray of sunlight that did not damage his home at all. Ophis also shook her head.
"I will pass. I am going to resupply on my sweets."
She kissed Kurayami and teleported in a flash of purple. Lavinia in the end decided to go with them.
"I also want to try out the uses of my new power in actual combat."
Seeing that they had decided what to do, Kurayami knew it was in two days, but he was going to head now.
"Alright, we can head over there now."
He took Zesshi's Rubix Cube which made her watch how he solved it. When she saw how she did it, she was impressed. When he handed it back to her she looked at the cube she had not been able to solve.
"That is how you do it?"
While he was sitting on the couch he felt some movement and saw that Shalltear woke up. She had not opened her eyes, but she had already sat up.
"I was sure you would be out for a whole day?"
She yawned and rested her head on his lap.
"You were wrong my Lord."
"Lord? I thought Ainz was your lord."
She opened her red eyes which were surrounded by dark purple with a smile.
"He is my sovereign. That cannot change, but I can choose my Lord. I say that is you. I have decided something Lord Kurayami."
He raised an eyebrow at her.
"And what is that Shalltear?"
She sat up as she stretched a little.
"I will only drink your blood."
She hugged his arm as she felt just how much power was hidden in his body. Akeno shook her head at the sight.
"Not even the undead are safe from you. Raynare, keep Cain safe from this fiend."
Raynare nodded.
"I got to keep my familiar safe. Everyone run."
Kurayami rolled his eyes as he knew better.
"Shalltear, are you going to be able to stay awake?"
She was already snoring which was a no. This time he was sure she would end up sleeping the rest of the day to get used to her limits being broken. She even felt her tier magic changing so she needed a quick reset in a way.
"Grayfia, can you take her into a room?"
"Yes, master."
Grayfia picked up Shaltear and took her to one of the empty rooms. Kurayami looked at the ones who were coming with him and teleported into Camp Half-Blood. He appeared in front of Percy who had a tall girl leaning on his shoulder.
She was just as tall as Clarise, but she was nowhere as burly. If anything she was just athletic and her name was Elissa. She was wearing a camo jacket just like the one Clarise and the Ares cabin girls wore.
"So you called the ones that took my dad and sister?"
Percy nodded as he had his arm wrapped around her.
"I just thought it be a fun way to see how far they have gone. Do you mind?"
Elissa shook her head.
"No, not at all. I just want to know why dad has not taken any of us and just left."
That was something she wanted to know as Ares was putting his full focus into his two heirs. Just as she was in thought, Kurayami and the girls all appeared in front of the two of them.
Zesshi looked around before her gaze landed on Percy.
"Is that Toilet Breath?"
Kurayami nodded.
"Yes, it is. If you smell careful, I am sure you can even small the toilet water smell."
Zesshi took a deep breath and opened her eyes as she could swear she could smell it.
"You were right. I can see why his name is Toilet Breath."
Percy face palmed as they never let that name go.
"I am starting to regret inviting you."
Annabeth nudged him with her elbow.
"Too late now Sea Weed hair. Now, what does this quest entail?"
Ellisa coughed to get attention to herself making Annabeth look at her.
"Hey, Ellisa. What is the most pretty girl in the Ares cabin doing with Percy?"
"He saved my life and he is my type. Cute."
"Kurayami shrugged.
"Whatever toots your horn?"
He and the girls all walked in to say hello to Chiron and Dionysus. All the while Zesshi was looking around with interest. This was a new world for her so she was especially interested. Chiron, Dionysius, and Grover were all playing cards as usual until they saw Kurayami and the girls.
"I heard about Nyx and Hades. How did you do it?"
Kurayami thought of how to answer.
"For Nyx, I guess she fell in love with me. Hades must have just turned over a new leaf."
Dionysus shook his head.
"That guy does not just turn over a new leaf. Whatever happened, it must have been big. If you are here, it must be for the quest. You can have at it as I am sure you will solve it in a jiffy."
Kurayami shook his head.
"I am not here to solve it. I am just looking for a way to spend the next three months. This is more like a vacation kind of."
Dionysus waved him off.
"Well have fun I guess. Be careful with Nyx and Hades, those two can't be trusted. Less than me."
Zesshi could feel that Dionuss was strong. She felt she could take him, but she questioned how many strong beings existed in this world. When he felt her gaze he met her gaze.
"I didn't know elves were a thing."
Kurayami wrapped his arm around her as he started to leave.
"Don't remind her. We, I guess we will head off. Let's see what this quest entails."
Chiron waved them off.
"Percy, Thalia, and Ellisa are on it. They set off tomorrow to find two new Demigods by the name of Nico and Bianca. You can help if you want."
Hearing about new Demigos made Annabeth curious.
"Change of plans, we go today."
Kurayami agreed.
"That is fine with me. Let's check out these two demigods."
He already figured out who their dad was as Hade had a very unique presence. He was just going to keep it secret for now. They went to find Percy, Thalia, and Elissa who were all together.
Annabeth and Thalia hugged it out as if they were friends.
"Annabeth, I did not know you were going to help us. I owe you one. You to Percy."
Percy rolled his eyes while he looked at Kurayami.
"How are we going to get there? Truck, or teleportation."
Kurayami just smiled.
"Tiger."
Kurayami summoned Castiel who had huge black stripes all over his body. The little tiger grew to be 30 meters long with giant feathered wings. Two large horns grew from his head as he looked down.
"I am at your service master."
His voice was deep, haughty, and mixed with growls. It was different from Tyrant's which sounded like rocks screaming against each other. Seeing it, made Ellisa and Thalia look at him with shock.
Kuroka called to get their attention.
"Eveyrone on the giant tiger, nya."
Kurayami and the girls had already gotten on his back so Akneo dragged them up.
"Stop slowing down. Castiel, you can go."
He flapped his wings and shot to the sky toward the school of Westover Hall.
