Once Azrael set off from Grigori toward the so-called hidden base of the Utsusemi organization he was uninterested. He was going to save the kids used to make Utsusemi, but he was planning on killing everyone else.
He had spent years in Tartarus so he was itching to put it to use in his training. As he flew through the sky he moved faster than even Kurayami could see. He made Vali look slow despite that the both of them could fight a whole drawn-out battle in moments.
The Utsusemi organization made their base in a heavily warded underground, but all that only delayed the inevitable. He flew over the hidden base as he looked down at it from the sky.
"Looks like this is the place."
From his shadow, a large red eye looked at him with a squinted look. Seeing that made Azrael reach into his shadow as he drew out a monstrous-looking scythe. It made Raynare's look cute as it looked to be a mix of flesh and metal.
A giant eye looked at him from the center of the giant blade.
"Ready, old friend?"
The eye glowed bright red as it gazed down at the hidden base. Azrael raised it over his head and swung down with a half-hearted blow that cut right through space. That slash tore the base open like wet tissue paper.
He leaped down as he fell into the base. The entire base was in shock as they did not expect a legend like Azrael to show up. He felt some spacial fluctuations as they tried to flee, but he was not letting anyone go.
"Not going to happen."
He tapped his scythe on the ground and set up a giant Dimensional Lock around the base. From his scythe, Death Mana, Demonic power, and Holy Magic radiated off his scythe which is in a perfect blend.
By mixing the three he created some elemental wolves that rushed through the base ripping and tearing any Utsusemi and foot soldiers.
"Seems that time was well spent. Go, murder everyone in your path except the kids. Kill them all, leave nothing in your wake."
The elemental wolves rushed out as every single one was an almost Ultimate Class being. He walked through the base as he launched Black spears of light that reduced any that they killed to dust.
The souls rushed toward him as he devoured them similar to Kurayami. Azrael had been at this for eons since he was the first of God's children. While he continued his slaughter Hanezu Himejima, the leader, was clenching his teeth. He was at the lowest level and he had all but given up.
"Why? Why? Why is this monster here? We never bothered him, who is this?"
An elderly witch behind him shook her head as she looked at Azrael from the cameras.
"Azrael. Only he can use Death Magic to this extent, but I thought he was dead. This is not good at all. We might as well be dead."
Hanezu looked at her with all hope dying. He fell to his knees as he began to laugh madly.
"Azrael, the Angel of Death. He was supposed to be dead. How did we offend him? We never took action against him?"
Augusta was running out of ideas as well as Azrael was not just someone you could fight. Once he started only death remained in his wake so they were all dead people walking. Hanezu looked at her with a blank look in his eyes.
"What will you do?"
Agusta slapped him with rage in her eyes.
"I am thinking, I should have never helped you. Why did I have to be so foolish."
From behind her was a teenage girl was laughing her ass off.
"We are all so going to die. I hope he leaves me for the end, I want to watch as he kills everyone else. It will be so much fun."
Walburga was an odd one, she was 15, but she had no attachment to anyone. Even herself as she only pursued causing chaos. Azrael already saw her and he was thinking of giving her to Kurayami so she could be his maid or something.
He knew Kurayami and her were very similar as while he hid his more brutal cravings she wore them on her sleeve. Azrael did not care how crazy someone was as he was also the same in his youth.
She was a sadist so he felt she needed some real discipline first.
"Catch the little girl, she seems interesting."
His wolves obeyed his order as they continued to run through the base to follow his order. Hanezu had no idea about that as he thought they were all going to die. He got off the ground as he made his choice.
"I am going out with Cowardly Leo along with most of the Utsusemi. It does not matter what happens, I am not going to go down like a coward. If I am to die I will go down in a fight."
Walburga corrected him.
"Not a fight, he will wipe your guts on the walls."
She looked red in the face as a hardcore sadist imagining it made her feel tingly. Augusta ignored her disciple as she continued to try to find a way to teleport away. She was not loyal to the cause at all, she needed to escape first.
Sadly no matter what way she tried it all failed. Azrael was the 5th strongest in the list of the top 10 of the world's strongest. Only Shiva, Brahma, Vishnu, Indra, and Typhon could fight him.
Seeing how there was zero hope, Augusta decided to head out as well.
"Fine, I might learn something before my death. Walburga let's go."
Hanezu looked behind him as Sae was behind him. She was implanted with Cowardly Leo and was one the strongest Utsusemi Azrael waited patiently as he opened up a large hole. Around him were several passed-out kids who were used as hosts.
"Here comes the pests."
A big magic circle opened up and hundreds of Utsusemi poured out along with their beasts. Azrael was uninterested in them as he snapped his fingers.
"Rest for now."
Black spears of light stabbed every beast in the head safe for Cowardly Leo who had already given up. He was on his back as he showed his belly to beg for mercy. Azrael let him live as he felt Sae would be able to tame him.
Hanezu Himejima saw it was hopeless to struggle as he looked at Azrael.
"Why? What did we ever do to offend you?"
Azrael shrugged.
"Your organization began to mess with my faction as that bastard Satanael is your leader. Consider it your bad luck. Die."
That was all it took as Hanezu fell limp on the ground. His soul was devoured by Azrael and now it was Augusta's turn. She fell to her knees to beg for her life.
"Please, I d-"
"Die."
Just like before she went limp and dead, but he raised his hand and ripped out her sacred gear. It was a mass of shadows, so he used a lantern to keep it from going to Heaven. Now only Walburga remained.
He walked up to the dead body of Augusta and took the communicator she had with her. He felt it would be a good way to see who was backing her, but now that he finished he had to deal with Walburga.
She ran up to Azrael and she looked at his face with a smile.
"Me next, me next. Me next."
Her face looked insane, but he did not mind it.
"No, I don't think so."
Walburga kicked him on the shin as she pouted.
"Not fair."
Azrael shook his head as he knew she was not mentally ok. That was fine with him so he picked her up to take her with him.
"You need some serious help, being a sadist is fine, but don't seek your death."
She rolled her eyes as he ignored him. He spread out his magic and teleported all of the passed-out students as he returned to one of the large training rooms in Grigori.
During the time that Azazel was talking with Kurayami and the girls, he was already done. When Azazel returned he felt the aura of Azrael so he went toward the training room.
He saw the passed-out students and teachers with a smile on his face.
"I knew you would get it done. That only took you like 5 minutes."
Azrael put his scythe away and put down Walburga.
"Maybe, I got this crazy girl here."
Azazel looked at her and saw madness in her eyes.
"Why did you bring her?"
Azrael shrugged.
"She reminded me of myself and Kurayami. I felt it would be good to get her to tone it down a bit. Maybe making her a maid for the boy will be fine."
Walburga kicked his shin again as she did not want to be a maid.
"Why do I have to be a maid?"
Azrael looked down at her and grabbed her nose causing her to recoil.
"Because I said so."
Walburga scoffed, but Azazel could see she was very much so not stable. He was going to speak up, but the communicator that Augusta had in her pocket went off.
He lifted off the ground wondering who it was. From it emerged an old woman's voice
"Hello. Augusta is dead, so you must be the one who killed Agusta. I am Glenda and may I ask who killed her?"
Azrael pulled out the communicator and he knew who she was. He started to record it so he could show it to Lavinia as it would do the girl no good to still want to find her.
"So you are Glenda, I am Azrael. I am sure you know who I am and why contacting me is a bad idea. I am guessing you took in Lavinia only to research her sacred gear correct."
"Yes. If you are Azrael there was no hope for the fool to survive. As for Lavinia, she was good researcher material when I got all that I could out of her. Once she was no longer useful I sent her away. Now, what are you going to do Azrael."
Suddenly Glenda felt a great amount of power as she did not know about Azrael's most terrifying power. She had heard in the past that Azrael could kill by simply saying the word Die. She mistakenly thought that she would have to be present, but that was false.
"Talking to me was the last mistake you will commit. Die."
A thud was heard as Azrael could command most beings who were weaker than him to simply die. As a Death Mage of extreme skill, this was child play. Something he did not know was that Kurayami's mother had an interest in him.
She also planned to allow Azrael to become a new god of death in this world as all of them were under her control. They existed because she allowed them to exist and Azrael was the strongest one in this world.
Azazel shivered when he heard it, but Walburga seemed to have stars in her eyes.
"So cool."
Azrael started to leave as he smiled.
"Still got it."
Azazel looked at Walburga who was made to stay behind.
"Fine, you can stick around but try not to kill anyone here. If you want to torture someone, Kurayami will find people for you to torture. From this day on he is your master and you are his maid. Got it."
She snorted.
"Fine."
Azazel looked at the past kids and Sae along with Cowardly Leo as he had his work cut out for him. He had to teach a psycho girl to be a maid and he had to heal all these people.
Good thing he has people to do some stuff for him. His researchers would be able to get the hard part done. However, he knew that Lavinia would not be happy the woman who raised her was dead. She would probably be angry, but he hoped Kurayami could calm her down.
"Damn, I guess now the Devils will know not to fuck with us. When one is at a certain level, words alone can fell armies."
"Stop talking to yourself."
He looked at Walburga and knew she would be a handful. Why did they leave all this work to him? He just wanted to be a researcher so why was he always working for everyone?
