When the guards got the news, they quickly went into high alert and also wait for backup.
They know if the Dragon was as strong as the previous Dragon 25 years ago, then the backup would mean nothing but it was just to buy so time for the people on earth to get ready and civilians to hid from the Dragon.

The authorities on earth look at the video sent by the group and without a doubt, they saw a Dragon on the 3D projector.
As they report the news and sent the video to the other countries. They called the superhuman on their country to get ready for battle.
As the authorities started to discuss the situation and how to deal with it. They suddenly received a call and got the information that the Dragon appear at the gate but just flew away which confused everybody.
But the authorities quickly told them to keep their guards up and to stay in high alert and told some people to form a group and scout the area.
After a few hours of scouting the area, the presence of the Dragon was not detected and this the scout team reported to the higher ups who in turn reported to the authorities.
The higher ups then told the masses and showed the appearance of the Dragon near the gate.
While the Dragon did nothing, it's appearance kept the citizens on high alert. Not only the citizens but the government of the world's quickly came together and send some of the superhuman to explore the area because a Dragon was a World-Class Disaster.

As Kevingu finished talking with his stepmother, he sigh because his stepmother came running towards his store and told him to pack is stuff but she had to go since the higher ups call all the superhumans to gather up but after some few hours she went back to the store since they got the information that the Dragon didn't attack the gate.
But when she reached the store and found out that her son did not pack anything, she went to his room and packed his stuffs herself and told his son they are going since he would be safer at home than at his store.
Your brother and sisters are also excited to see you. Don't you want to meet them? Said Kevingu's Mother.
Ok mom I'm coming but I'm not staying for long since I have to look after my store. Said Kevingu.
Look after your store? You get no customer apart from us and also you do nothing apart from sleeping on your chair. Said his mother.

You can closed your store and come home and search for a different job and i will still support you, you know that right son, but of course you wouldn't do that. Said his mother.
