บท 2: Chapter 02 Bullied
Hearing what Bu Nan said, Lu Jin turned and said, "even if we do fight, it will only cause more harm than good."
"Shut up!! Do not tell me how the battle that is not yet fought will end," Bu Nan said angrily, thinking that he was been mocked by Lu Jin.
Releasing his life spirit, the air around him suddenly turned hot.
"Flaming Eagle Spell!!" He roared as he suddenly attacked Lu Jin with a spell.
Whoosh!!
The flaming eagle behind Bu Nan ruthlessly swooped towards Lu Jin with an ominous glint on its beak.
Boom!!!
The spot Lu Jin was once standing was now filled with dust and remnant particles of dancing flames.
"Is he alive?'
"I don't think so,"
As the dust settles....
"Look, he is not there,"
"Maybe he was killed, and his body eradicated,"
"I don't think Bu Nan's spells can do that yet,"
"Yeah, you are right. Then where is he?"
"H..he is over there," a student pointed with his hand trembling.
Looking over to the direction the student who spoke out was pointing, the classroom became ghostly quiet.
The presumed dead Lu Jin could be seen standing behind Bu Nan with a rank seven[7] aura exuding out of his body and his sword caressing the surface of Bu Nan's neck.
"I told you, pigface. A battle between us will cause more harm than good," Lu Jin said softly as he whispered in Bu Nan's left ear.
"Impossible! It's impossible!! How can you be in the 7th rank!! I'm supposed to be the youngest to step into the 7th rank among this batch of students! I have a good talent and more resources you can ever have! But why were you able to! Why!!!!" Bu Nan shouted angrily as a drop of blood slid down the cut made on his neck due to his sudden movement.
"Maybe your talent isn't so great after all," Lu Jin whispered as he withdrew his sword from Bu Nan's neck and left the classroom with an even pace, indicating how easy he defeated Bu Nan.
Bu Nan watched as Lu Jin left but the vibrant vibe that accompanies him was no more, instead, he looks as if he could slaughter dozens of people but it still won't quell his rage.
"Lu Jin, you better watch your back from now on, because nobody makes an enemy of me, Bu Nan and go free, nobody," he said as he trembled in anger.
...
Inside a room, Lu Jin stood facing a sword painting on the wall.
"I've looked at the painting over and over again and it's still the same" he mumbled as he kept looking at the sword painting.
"Painting it again won't help in my comprehension," he sighed as he looked away from the painting, "trying to understand the sword by painting a sword doesn't seem to be working out for me."
Sitting cross-legged on the floor, he began practicing the sword technique the hall master of the sword pavilion gave him.
"The 9 basics of the sword" is a basic sword technique and cultivating according to the technique helps to temper the body and refine the blood.
Each form of the sword technique corresponds to the rank of body tempering realm.
"I have been in the 7th rank of body tempering realm for two weeks now, and in about three weeks, I have a feeling that I will step into the eighth rank. I just have to continuing working hard, and then I will become stronger," Lu Jin said as if trying to comfort himself.

"When Chu Fan beat him, I will get him to kowtow and tell the entire students that he used trickery to defeat me," having such thought, the smile on Bu Nan's face blossomed more and more.
Receiving no hint from Lu Jin, Bu Nan asked his big brother, "big brother Fan, do you want me to break down his door and drag him out for you?"
"The rule of the academy states that you can't force your way into the room of a student, no matter the emergency, the anger or the hatred you have toward that student," Chu Fan said in a lecturing tone.
"I understand big brother Fan," Bu Nan replied.
"Lu Jin, come out immediately!" he shouted continuously at the top of his voice.
Creak!!
The door was pushed open as Lu Jin came out of his room.
"Greetings, senior brother," he greeted with a carefree expression on his face.
Nodding in acknowledgement, Chu Fan looked at Bu Nan, "request whatever you want from him."
"Lu Jin, I want you to kowtow before me and tell the entire student how you used trickery to win in our battle," Bu Nan commanded.
Lu Jin ignored Bu Nan as he kept his sight on Chu Fan, "I can't do what he requires."
Looking intrigued, Chu Fan asked Lu Jin, "why can't you do what he requires?"
"Because he's weaker than me," Lu Jin said while pointing at Bu Nan.
Smiling, Chu Fan said "If he was alone then you will have no need to kowtow or say whatever he wants you to say. But now he has me, and I want you to kowtow and do what he wants you to do."
"I am sorry, senior brother, but I'll have to disobey you," Lu Jin said while looking straight at Chu Fan.
"I gave you a chance to go free with just a little embarrassment, but you refused because of your so-called pride. Being in the academy without your parents or an elder to take care of you must've made you ignorant to the common practices of society. You no longer have respect for your seniors," Chu Fan lectured righteously with a smile on his face, "but fear not. I will discipline you on behalf of the academy, so you won't say that I am bullying you."
"Hahahaha," a laughter was heard coming from the back of the crowd.
"Bu Nan, you went to call your big brother after losing so terribly to Lu Jin," Wu Lan said, laughing at how shameless Bu Nan and Chu Fan could be.
The look on Bu Nan face was terrible as he was reminded of how badly he lost.
"But as long as I see Lu Jin suffer, it doesn't matter," he thought as he watched Lu Jin and his senior brother.
Lu Jin looked straight at Chu Fan before saying "as you wish, senior brother."
