บท 25: Chapter 25 - Responsibility
After the First match with Hermit then I'll start the Hot spring field trip then continue the arc again.
I'll also introduce Kengan Characters after that.
I'll be skipping minor storylines if I can since I don't want y'all to be bored by something unimportant. Only major events stick.

For the next grueling week, Haruto had continued to train under everyone except Shigure who had recently gone away and decided to ask her about training him later when he got the chance. He learned that Kenichi had a fight with someone from Ragnarok thinking of using him as bait but unfortunately he was trained by the world strongest Masters. Though, this in turn places a target for recruitment in Ragnarok.
Haruto had to beat him up and teach him to fight head on rather than worrying about what's already been done. He was relatively stronger and learned a lot quicker than the original due to his brother's interference. The [ Spiral Power ] does affect those around him.
Meanwhile, Lala had also been working extra hard on her Lab and Haruto made sure to reward her in ways he could. She started to become someone important to Haruto and can't possibly live without. They haven't been able to have a date because of how busy Haruto is but plans on finding some to do so.
As for his training with his Master, Ghislaine resumed training his [ Sword God Style ] while giving pointers to what she experienced from fighting [ Water God Style ] users since [ North God Style ] can be anything that he learns put to practice.
She places his progress near advice after the week's duration but still far from reaching a Saint Rank since he can use [ Longsword of Light ]. In terms of [ North God style ] then he would be Saint Rank because of his other fighting style while Intermediate in [ Water God Style. ]
Haruto also taught Ghislaine some basic arithmetic, making sure it was simple enough for her to understand. She isn't dumb just her life never got the chance to learn because she was stubborn. She often looked at Haruto with hidden intentions that the young prodigy didn't even notice.
She also sometimes stayed at their home teaching her how to use television and even gave her a phone courtesy of Haruto. Ghislaine is adapted rather easily to the place where she is in. She does often watch combat sports and complained about how they are a lot weaker and slow that even Advanced Rank can beat them.
Haruto and Kenichi began staying at Ryozanpaku Dojo during weekends allowing them to progress rather quickly. At that time, Honoka had visited them where she acted the same way in the manga but everyone was surprised by her claims of looking at Haruto.
"Don't look at me like that!" Haruto saw them teasing him, especially Sakaki laughing at how much of a cassova.
"Hohoho, it reminds me of when I was young. But it's surprising that you can actually have your own Harem if you marry Lala." Kansei Ma wasn't even jealous knowing how stressful it is since he did have a lot of women around when he was young since he was a pretty boy, almost too feminine at that.
Miu doesn't know why but her heart felt relieved for some reason. For the past week, Haruto had been diligent in his training and always supported his brother Kenichi, never discouraging him even if sometimes he was harsh. She was unsure what she was feeling and decided to ignore it.
"Can we stop? I'm just someone who doesn't like to make promises I can't keep even if it was a kind of misunderstanding. She did work hard for me and can't simply reject her simply because I made a mistake and should take responsibility."
Haruto said while the grandmaster started to understand his character and wasn't the type to play around women's feelings nor was he a lecherous pervert. Oftentimes he would be honest and give his blunt answer. If not then he'll simply won't tell. Haruto rarely lies and if he does then he's simply going to tell later.
After some time at the dinner in Ryozanpaku for the first time he'll be eating them. They're a variety of dishes on the table and most looked extremely delicious.
"Wow Miu you made all of this?" Haruto said was impressed by the amount she managed to cook up.
"Don't be surprised. It's really nothing" Miu replied, a little bit embarrassed at being praised.
"Maybe next time I'll help you cook." Haruto said
"You can cook, Haruto?" Miu was surprised that someone like Haruto would know how to cook.
"Haruto-Nii is a great cook since he typically takes care of Rito-san and Mikan-chan." Kenichi said.
"Yeah, I'm not that good but if you need help I can provide." Haruto said with a smile and Miu nodded in response.
"Where is Shigure?" Kenichi asked, looking around but the weapon grandmaster was nowhere to be found.
"She likes to eat alone, so she eats up in the attic," Miu said.
"She's weird." Kenichi said while eating, having been warned by Haruto not to overthink and not act like these stereotypes in the movies to avoid his food getting stolen.
"Yeah but it's her habit so we don't push it." Miu said while Haruto knew exactly what she was like and was simply socially awkward. He took a bite of the food and instantly eyes widened.
"Oh wow, I already ate some of your food during lunch time but have to say it's really delicious." Haruto gave his honest opinion and not only did the food taste amazing but also nutritious.
"Thank you, Haruto." Miu felt something well up in her heart for some reason and doesn't know why. Haruto is obviously at his action and simply tell what he truly feels.
"Yeah, whoever your husband is in the future is a lucky man. If you were my bride then I would be really happy to eat your food." Haruto said unaware of what he did while Miu blushed and the Grandmaster looked at Haruto with a grin and Hayato unsure if he should be angry or not since he saw no deception in his words.
"Huh? Why is everyone looking at me? Guess more for me hahaha." He laughed taking some more of the food and everyone continued to eat their dinner thinking how Haruto can be dense yet that works for his favor in the end. He does not seek the harem but the harem seeks him.
'This boy's honesty will surely either make women happy or break their heart. If Miu becomes interested in him then I'll make sure to punish him for daring to break her heart.' Hayato thought dangerously while Haruto shivered for some reason.
"Did it suddenly get cold? Just me?" Haruto asked, tilting his head while the grandmaster started praying for his safety.

After dinner, Haruto was currently on the rooftop chilling trying to relax and enjoy the scenery that showed the beautiful night sky. Kenichi was currently sleeping and he couldn't sleep for some reason.
"Haruto?" A voice came in and turned to see Miu with her hair down wearing a pajama that had a dog paw design. Haruto is mesmerized by her hair flowing down and finally admits that she looks better this way than her usual appearance.
"Uhm, Haruto?" Miu asked to see him in daze and he regained his senses.
"Ah sorry, I was just mesmerized by how you look. I guess I was wrong because you look better this way." Haruto said, making her blush once more.
"Are you joining me? This place really has the best view of the sky." He said as Miu walked over to him and sat down.
"This is my favorite spot and I'm glad you like it." Miu said looking up in the sky where endless shimmering stars that twinkle in the sky was seen as the captivating moon was full.
"When I were to make a friend one day…gazing at the stars with them was my dream."
"So I guess you've fulfilled one dream?!" Haruto smiled seeing her happy.
"Yep! Satisfied. Totally satisfied. How about you?" Miu looked at Haruto who pondered for moment.
"I never put that much thought into it. I guess I have a family of my own and lived happily without problems. I'm not ambitious but there is no greater joy knowing someone is waiting for you at him." Haruto said despite how his family is, it feels distant and misses his father and mother even though the former is close by and often not home while the latter are overseas.
Become the strongest? Yeah, that's secondary since he needs strength to protect those he loves. Become rich? Yeah, that's also another thing but that's just a sub dream because in the end he only has a fulfilling life. Miu mesmerized by his words and dream never expected someone like him would have such a dream.
"What about you? What do you want to be when you grow up?" Haruto asked even though he knows about it because of the memory but this at least helps strengthen their bond.
"It's a secret." Miu tried to dodge the question and Haruto nodded.
"Keep your secret then." Haruto said not want to force her.
"My dream is to become a beautiful bride. Daeisan Middle Year 1 class, Furinji Miu." It was then Shigure appeared and read a note out loud where Haruto chuckled seeing her act and eventually the two head back down. Miu asked Haruto to continue being her friend and he wholeheartedly accepted.
The next day, Kenichi was training under Sakaki learning Karate and Haruto on the other hand was training against Shigure since Haruto already had the basics in Full Contact Karate. Shigure was slightly surprised and strangely excited despite her deadpan expression. She was able to discern that this isn't Haruto's first time holding a sword.
Haruto made a quest but the reward was lackluster due to already being strong in a sparring session. Unless it's a fight to the death or even just duel then the reward would be even greater.
"Hohoho~ this is the first time I've seen Shigure excited." Hayatos said watching the two trained and close by was Akisame looking at the weapon grandmaster. Haruto is able to sense that she was someone not to meddle with and unsure how she'll fare against Ghislaine since she prioritizes speed but Shigure has many styles to counter attacks.
"The way Haruto wields the blade seems to have likely copied Shigure during her training." Akisame said, watching the two waiting for the first person to strike. Haruto took a deep breath focusing his energy into his sword and preparing himself to do a quick draw where the Grandmaster noticed that he was starting to channel his Ki.
'It's not been long but he's already close to reaching High class master.' Hayato thought about the monstrous growth that Haruto had and observed him with a smooth fluid motion. Haruto went for the first strike where Shigure immediately parried and redirected the attack.
Haruto stepped back and changed his movement performing a [ Water God Style ] surprising Shigure and swung the sword directed at his neck only for Haruto to ducked down and flipped kick Shigure who leaned back and flipped back showcasing the usage of [ North God Style ].
'She barely has any opening!' Haruto clicked his tongue but was excited to go past his limits and took deep breaths then used [ Foresight ] and [ Zone ] along with [ Formless ] and [ Tachypsychia ].
He focused once again towards his hand and quick draw performing several slams in a few seconds showcasing his speed. They went back and forth where Haruto was learning more about her style incorporating it into his.
[ Kousaka Slash! ]
Shigure's usual finishing attack. A powerful downard slash that can literally peel the thin side of a leaf into two halves. When used against opponents, she usually doesn't aim to kill so it usually cuts their clothes. Even then, the force of the attack is usually enough to stun them. Haruto saw the incoming attack and immediately used [ Water God Style ] managing to parry the attack.
[ Flow! ]
Haruto uses the first and basic technique of the [ Water God Style ] using [ Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist ] what she knows. This allowed him to at least level further and manage to return the attack back at Shigure forcing her to step back and back to stance.
