บท 182: 178)The new Lineage ******

After leaving Ginny's room, I returned to my parents, who were watching me with various expressions. From what I could perceive, the only one who knew anything about what was happening with my sister was my mother, although even she didn't seem to know all. My brothers had no idea, and my father, despite my mother having told him something, wasn't very aware of the situation.

The conversation resumed, but now, besides me, my brothers started to take the spotlight, which I appreciated. Even though their stories weren't as impressive as what happened to me at Hogwarts, my parents gave them their moments, and Ron took the opportunity to recount his feat on the giant chessboard once again. Well, until my mother, just like before, interrupted when the topic of the dangers we faced came up.

My mother can be a terrifying woman, or maybe it's just a natural fear I have because she is... well, my mother. Her scolding lasted until almost noon. Despite everything, I could feel the pride she had in us, as did my father.

During lunch, there were two notable events. The first was the revelation of my clones. My parents asked me about it. They hadn't done so before because they wanted to make sure my emotional state was stable, but now the moment had come. I must say their reaction was one of utter astonishment when they saw an identical double of me appear.

As with other things, my parents had some idea from my brothers' letters, but since I hadn't responded to mine, they hadn't delved too deeply. Now, they were bewildered, almost at a loss for how to approach the subject.

They examined every aspect of my two selves and were amazed that they couldn't detect any differences, not even in behavior. This wasn't a magical copy acting under a set of instructions; it was another fully functional version of me. My father was fascinated, while my mother was a bit worried.

I couldn't tell them much about the origin of this ability, though they insisted with every question they could think of. I could only say that, like my emotions, one day it appeared out of nowhere and felt very natural.

They probed as much as they could, perhaps even somewhat aggressively, but they didn't get much information. My father decided to look through family records, both at the Ministry and from the Prewett and Weasley families, to find any precedent for my ability. My mother agreed with this. Although she found it fascinating, she wouldn't rest until she knew more about it.

I told them everything I could about this ability (what I deemed appropriate for them to know), and this seemed to put them at ease a little. After learning that I could make more than one clone, my mother was a bit excited about possibly having one of my clones at home with her while I was at Hogwarts, but I told her they couldn't travel that far and it wasn't possible. This was a lie, but besides a few people, no one else knew that, and I didn't want my mother controlling me.

Well, putting that aside, let's talk about the next event. Just before lunchtime, Ginny came out of her room with an expression that indicated she would kill anyone who got in her way, or at least that was the impression she gave.

She came to the table and sat next to me, as our places were usually arranged, but she never looked at me or said a word. I tried to talk to her a couple of times, but she didn't respond to anything I said and kept staring straight ahead.

Although she was curt with me, she had no problem responding to our parents, even though her attitude and expression didn't change when she did. My brothers had no idea why Ginny was acting this way, so the twins tried to make fun of her attitude, I think to try to cheer her and lighten the mood, but my sister responded with a growl that seemed to scare them given the expressions on their faces.

It was an... interesting lunch. Ginny continued with that attitude, and despite making everyone a bit uncomfortable and not giving any explanations, even when our parents asked if she was okay, the meal was pleasant.

To my surprise, Ginny told my mother that she and I were going to the Lovegoods, and although my parents wanted me to stay to learn more about my adventures and changes, they agreed after considering Ginny's attitude, hoping it would help her improve.

My sister didn't say much to me, she just grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the house. I didn't know what to expect; for a moment I thought maybe she had calmed down and it was time to talk again, but that wasn't the case. The whole way, she gave me the silent treatment until we reached Luna's place, and there I found out what my sister wanted... to train.

Yes, my sister had brought me there to practice as usual, so I greeted Xenophilius while my sister took Luna to the yard. When I went outside, I saw Luna trying to find out what was going on with Ginny, and they both talked, glancing at me. From Luna's side, I saw a bit of surprise but nothing particularly noteworthy; she didn't react like my sister, which kept gnawing at my mind: What's wrong with Ginny? What is she hiding? Is she really like this and I never noticed, or is there something wrong with her?

When we started, the first thing I thought was that Ginny wanted to use this 'training' to take out her frustration on me, but it wasn't really like that. I mean, yes, during the fights she gave it her all; I'd almost say I'd never seen her so engaged in a fight, but then I saw it wasn't just in combat but in everything else we practiced.

My sister pushed herself to the limit with every action, with every activity, and I think even Luna was surprised that Ginny was putting in so much effort, but she didn't say anything and tried to keep up with the same level of intensity. Throughout the training, Ginny hardly spoke to me unless necessary, and the only thing I could perceive from her was an incredible determination.

Hours passed, and in the end, Ginny was panting, with her hands on her knees to stay upright, completely drenched in sweat. I didn't know what emotions to have about it, what to say, or how to proceed with my sister's attitude. In the end, I decided to let the first thing I felt come out of my mouth.

"Ginny... that was incredible. I don't know why, but you're amazing," I said sincerely. I had never seen my sister so motivated, and that really made me admire her for a moment.

"Hmmm..." Ginny just huffed, nodding, completely exhausted.

It wasn't a great response, but I felt the animosity she had towards me lessen a bit after this strenuous activity. I don't know if I can say things are okay, as I'm concerned about how this will develop, but for now, I'll leave my sister alone and try to approach her little by little.

We had to go home, but before that, Ginny took a bath at the Lovegood house. It was a usual thing; she even had some of her clothes here; if not, we could just buy something at the market.

...

Since the second day, I had been creating clones to handle various tasks without anyone knowing, and every so often, I'd swap one out with my real self to make sure someone was spending time with my family.

Life at the Burrow was quite simple. My parents got to know me in ways they never had the chance to before. Now I could express everything to them, and they always ended up discovering something more about me and my adventures.

I tried to make up for my childhood by being as helpful as possible and trying to get involved in every family activity I could, though it was somewhat overwhelming at times.

My brothers did what they always did, nothing noteworthy except for Ginny. Her attitude towards me has improved, but she's remained somewhat indifferent. My sister speaks only as much as necessary, but her determination in training never wavered, which only makes me fear for those who try to face her in the future if she continues like this. I feel that our relationship is slowly mending as the tension between us fades. It started to improve more significantly after she began talking with Luna, but I don't have much information about that.

The last notable event occurred a few days after we returned from Hogwarts. It was during breakfast; we were all eating at the table when something happened.

My siblings and parents were talking. I was trying to get a few more words out of my sister, but I was feeling... a kind of tingling or something like that, I wouldn't really know how to describe it because it was a sensation I had never felt before.

For a moment, as I was bringing food to my mouth, everything suddenly darkened, or perhaps it would be better to say everything went blank, and all that was left was nothingness. It was just an instant, not long enough to end up hitting my head on the table, but it was close. My family was surprised when I hit the table, but I didn't really want to hit it; it was more of a desperate attempt to grab onto something after regaining consciousness from that brief blackout.

I had no idea what happened, but I tried to act normally so as not to worry anyone, pretending. I was surprised; this was something that only happened to my real body; none of my clones experienced it, but that loss of consciousness almost caused them all to dissipate due to my lack of control over them.

I started to examine my body and anything else that could give me an idea of what happened. I was somewhat worried. After a while, not finding anything beyond a strange sensation and that my body seemed different, perhaps slightly stronger, I stopped looking at myself so much and began to look at the others too, and there, thanks to one of my abilities, I realized. I used my [Lineage Connection] to check the situation, and there was the answer.

I, at this very moment, have just severed any relationship with my parents. Yes, through my ability, I saw that we are no longer even remotely related; biologically, they can no longer be considered my parents. My body had been changing for a long time, but just today, a moment ago, it reached that point of severing all ties.

The curious thing was that, despite completely severing my lineage from that of my parents, that didn't happen with my siblings. Yes, my connection to them diminished, but it still existed, and unlike what happened with my parents, it didn't seem like it was going to disappear.

So, I reasoned a bit and came to a theory and conclusion. My blood magic was constantly purifying my lineage, just as it was strengthening me from birth. Now, after fully purifying it, my lineage reached the point of being unique, a new lineage. I have nothing above me in my bloodline, but parallels can exist. That's why I lost my connection with my parents, but not with my siblings, although I have no idea how that is logical or possible.

Anyway, this was confirmed once again when, shortly after, I gained the ability [First Progenitor/****** Lineage Origin ], which granted me greater power and control over the members of my lineage. All my descendants would be linked by my lineage, and depending on the purity of the blood, those closer to the origin of the bloodline would have some control and power over those lower down in that hierarchical pyramid, with me at the top of it.

It's strange, but I wouldn't reject this ability. The only thing I hope is that my parents don't come up with something like a DNA test, because I wouldn't know what to do with the results.
