Jaem had long since dropped out of school to cater for his old man since he had returned from the last war. At first, his father's condition hadn't been too bad that he couldn't support just the two of them with his meager post war funds.

Back then, even though things had been tough, he had had a somewhat easier life than he did currently. When things had become worst for his father, Jaem had taken the initiative to drop out of high school so that he could work full time to support himself and his father's medical expenses.

To achieve this, he had been forced to work two jobs, one during the morning, and the other during the afternoon. Even though this life exhausted him greatly, Jeam had no intentions of quitting his hustle, so he persisted.
