บท 140: Was It How I Kiss?

"Is this how people with broken hearts act?" Maya wondered. Was it too soon for her to tell them that she was hurt just as they were?  She felt betrayed too, even though she had no experience when it came to love life, she knew it was wrong.

The twins sat there staring at Brent. They didn't know where to begin, they were confused. Not because Brent was cheating on them but because they never told each other what was going on with their love life.

It was weird and the first time they have kept a secret from each other.

Nadia sat there, silent too. Her legs picked the moment not to move. She finally realized why Maya asked her not to come out of the room. Why did she come? She wondered. The palpable tension in the air worsened the way she felt.

She locked eyes with Maya, one question on her eyes, "should we leave?"

"No." Maya's eyes asked.
