Infront of me was other students who were as shocked as I was. We were on a beach behind us was the sea and in front of us was a castle like structure it was bigger than whole of Harbon port.
"Come on follow me" Wizard Erick took us near the huge castle walls, he came near the door showed his bracelet and the door with a snake symbol light up and opened.
"Erick you are back are these the new recruits any new talents" an old lady with soft skin asked as she looked at the students.
"There are 8 B grade and 2 A grade, and 37 C and D grade." then Erick turned to us and said "This is one of the Elders of our academy wizard Donna a rank 3 wizard and one of the 7 elders in the academy show your respect when you see them, Wizard Donna is in charge of potions." As soon as Erick finished his sentence all the students bowed.
"If any of you are interested in potionering come find me you can find any teachers in the map." She then eyed Damon and Lucy and went on her way.
Then the students followed Erick to a huge library. "This is the school library, the Atlantis holds the largest library among all the academies. You can read any books that are authorised to you, but you would special authorization for specific books. You have to pay for 2 merit points for reading for 5 hours.
Spells, meditation technique and rituals can be bought in the Spells department you will not find any in the library.
Erick then walked into the spells department which was deeper in the library. "Meditation helps you to increase your mentality, higher the aptitude, faster the mentality will increase. You should choose a technique which matches with your element or it won't work, there are non-elemental techniques that are cheap but will need more time than those with element. So, choose wisely. You can only use spells when you reach rank 1 so don't waste your time on that." After saying this Erick disappeared.
Everyone was excited to finally buy meditation technique even Damon, there was a look of eagerness in his face when he walked the people in front made way for him some girls where already trying to seduce him.
Among them Leo, no Noah too came near the meditation techniques he searched for a few and saw one with darkness element it read Shadow hand technique. "Can I ask how much will this cost" I asked the receptionist on the desk. "That would be 150 merit points including beginners discount", that's expensive "how much does it cost without beginners discount" I asked out of curiosity. The receptionist stared at me and answered 300 merit points. That is really expensive they gave 50% off on the first purchase. "Can I choose after a few days?" I asked again. "You can buy techniques whenever you want but the beginners discount will only last for three days, after that you will have to pay the whole price." she answered indifferently. I said thank you and left. I decided not to buy a meditation technique for now.
As everyone was searching for books and asking their prices I walked out of the library. I reached my room it was bigger than the one on the ship there was a bed near the window, a table with a lamp on the corner, a wardrobe and a small attached bathroom.
At least I don't have share the room with anyone. There was a blue cloak, three pairs of black pants white shirt and blue jacket, this was the school uniform.
I sat on bed and decided to ask Olaf about the meditation technique.
"So, you want to know about meditation techniques" Olaf looked at me.
"For starters you were lucky that master had found a water meditation technique in an inheritance. Meditation techniques are very hard to find, it is monopolised by academies and big organisations. Even if you find one in an inheritance, it may not be useful to you due to affinity. You were lucky that master had found a water technique, since it was not useful, he sold the original and kept the copy here in the library." Olaf answered.
"So, I should choose a technique from the library. If so which element, should I choose"
"No for now practise the moonlight meditation technique until you reach rank 1 and after you learn Analyze and copy spell copy all the technique into our library" Olaf showed an evil smile.
"Will they find out about this place and what about the oath I took, I cannot share the techniques to outsiders." Leo asked.

After hearing Olaf's words, I was more motivated I could steal the whole library. It is time for dinner I got out of the room and went downstairs. The dorm was a huge mansion the seniors are on another building, our building had more than 47 students.
I walked near the cafeteria I can buy food with merit points or can get free food which includes soup, some vegetables and bread. I can see all of them buying tasty dishes with merit points. The ex-nobles could not eat the free food and the commoners wanted to try the free food. I saw everyone eating expensive dishes and wine they must have wasted 10 merit points just for the wine.
One of them was Damon who was surrounded by D and C ranks and some B ranks. I bought the free food and sat on a free table when I heard someone sitting next to me, it was a boy with blonde hair next to him was a girl with blonde hair they looked similar must be sibling. I remember the girl she was one of the 8 B ranks.
"Do you mind if we sit here" the boy asked
"Of course, not" I replied.
"Why are you eating the free foods" the girl asked looking at my plate.
"I want to save some merit points" I replied
"I am Noah by the way" I introduced myself.
"Hi I am Annie Cambio and this is my brother Harry Cambio. So which technique did you pick" Annie looked at me with curiosity.
"Annie, you can't ask someone that, it is rude. I am sorry about my sister" Harry replied.
"No, it's fine, I haven't picked one yet."
I learned that Harry had a C grade aptitude and was from a small wizard family. I also learned that both Lucy and Damon have been picked by Elders as direct disciples, that's why all the students were surrounding them.
I said my goodbyes to the weird twins and started meditating in my room.
