After the breakdown
My heart feels lighter
Then suddenly I feel like a fighter
But the feeling fades
Right after I remember your smile
Right after I remember the dimple on your left cheek
The feeling fades as I remember your graceful gaze
The sound of your laughter echoes in my bedroom
The smell of your cologne on your hoodie
It makes my nose cry
As I hug it and wish it was you
The voices of that agreement that made us grow apart
Feels like bells ringing in my ear
The messages you sent send butterflies to my belly
The flashes of your lips on mine
Drops a tear on my face
The reality without you is like a sharp sword thrusting in my heart
The wishes of us being ok
Will forever remain a fantasy
A bitter sweet fantasy
