บท 136: Newly Bitten

The rainstorm was battering the small hut secluded by the pile of rusty cars left in the backyard of an industrial building just outside town. The inside of the dilapidated shack was dim, partly because of the storm but primarily because of the lack of lights inside.

Electricity was still running but the single bulb hanging in the ceiling was already not working a long time ago. The one living inside the shack did not need the light to see, hence, he did not care if the bulb was busted or not.

He stretched his long fingers to grab the rodent that was scurrying around, slashed its neck, and opened his mouth, letting the rodent's blood drop into his mouth. He could just sink his teeth into the rodent and suck its blood but he refused to put his mouth into such a disgusting animal.
