บท 105: Ranking Up! (10)

"Negotiations have failed then. Good," The Demon God raised her arm, and suddenly the tentacles increased in size, length and well, everything. "I always liked it more when they resisted."

I pumped chi at a voracious rate, and hoped that my [Purify] was strong enough to counter all the toxins. Right now, I think I might have even tapped into the higher middle stages of the [Body] Realm because I just felt absolutely brim with pure energy.

"Oh wait," The Demon God snapped her fingers and the tentacles were gone.

What was she going to do now? I watched her with a careful eye, making sure not to lose track of any one of her movements.

"Since my half-wit sister taught you that system of power, she must have already told you about the history I shared with the people who created it," The Demon God said, as her eyes moved about creepily.

I didn't bother replying, only keeping to myself, waiting for an opportunity for me to slam another haymaker into her solar plexus, where her dummy core was supposed to be at. That should immobilize her for a good few minutes.

"But even she doesn't know what really happened at the [Massacre Of SpiritDom]," The Demon God smiled like a Cheshire cat, her smile literally splitting her face into two.

"Every wife I raped, Every man I killed, Every house I pillaged," Her body started wobbling in and out of existence. She was in ecstasy. "Oh, how I remember, little Maiden! The looks on their faces when I stole and used their own power system against them!"

Suddenly, all the chi in the time-frozen world went rampant, like they wanted to run away before I felt them sucked into a black-hole, a black-hole that was standing right in front of me.

Shit! Breathing out, I quickly stopped myself from exuding any of my chi, keeping them locked and hidden away in my core unless I wanted all of my hard-earned and stored chi to be sucked away too.

"Watch!"

Before my eyes stood a Demonic God, the strongest and most wretched of them all, with a form that was most red and an aura that sundered the heavens, holding souls underneath her feet by the billions. My little chi was nothing compared to the heavenly demonic chi that the Demon God had gathered before my very eyes.

Then, I felt the pressure. Immediately, I fell with my face pressed against the cold, hard stoney ground. It felt like a world was sitting on my back. The only reason I hadn't passed out was due to [Purify] and [Heal] working in conjunction and on overtime.

I could only depend on them, since I knew that [Aegis] was locked and my [Dress Of Heaven] wouldn't activate since I wasn't really in a life-threatening situation because again, the Demon God would never, ever kill me.

I clenched my chest. I could still use [Anger], but I didn't know what would happen if I really used it. Putting the fact that I would pass out aside, I knew that it at least had the divine ability to injure a god, not to mention a god that was second only to the Demon God and the chief, elder god or God-King. Ivanka told me that it was a divinity, but it's origin was unlike anything she had ever seen, to the point it was basically foreign, not of this plane of reality and even she couldn't understand what exactly it was.

She did know one thing though. It was a divinity as well as a curse, since the more I used it, the more I would cease being "me". Now I didn't know whether Ivanka meant the transmigrated soul that was me, or the Maiden that was basically me but I didn't want to find out.

With all the force I could muster, I turned my head up, only to see that her tentacles had come back, but this time, enhanced and throbbing black-red with her heavenly demonic chi. She didn't need to say a word, since I knew what she was planning to do with those tentacles of hers.

I no longer had the leeway to play the waiting game. Shit, why did I have to forget about her being able to manipulate chi as well?!

I had to make a choice.

I would wake up [Anger].

The tentacles slithered forward to me, in a disgusting way as the Demon God stared down at my prostrated form with a lustful smirk. That bitch must be thinking of all the ways she was going to rape me but that wouldn't happen this time.

One of the many things I had studied together with Ivanka was [Anger]. Oh, we didn't bring it out since that would be detrimental to my health, but we did fiddle around with it in it's slumbering state. We tried to learn what made it tick, where it came from, how powerful it was, and unfortunately, how to awaken it the hard way.

Luckily, when it did awaken, Ivanka and I were prepared this time, since she managed to placate it with her authority as I tried my best to calm it down by thinking of Milo, my cat sleeping on a cozy leather chair by the fireplace while rain poured down outside.

The tentacles crawled, and it would only take them a few more seconds before they reached me. Before I woke up [Anger], I tried to do whatever I could to get out of my current situation.

I tried to buff myself with chi, but it would just get sucked away before I could even think about gathering it. I tried to call for [Aegis] in a desperate attempt, but as I thought, it didn't respond like our connection had been cut off. My connection with [Ivanka] hadn't been cut off but at our current affection level, all I could do was push my urgency for help onto her which was useful but not as good as directly summoning her before me like in the game.

"Give yourself to me again, Maiden," The Demon God's voice boomed out. I guess she really meant it when she said she was going to stop playing around. "Oh, I missed your taste the many months I was away."

She sniffed the air as her tentacles did the same, around my face. It was creepy and disgusting as hell. "So, my half-wit sister took it."

The tentacles wriggled around my body, slithering around my nipples before traveling downwards, all the while leaving behind it's disgusting black-red slime.

"Or so, she thinks," The Demon God chuckled.

I had no choice now. I had to activate [Anger]. Channeling chi within me to go directly to [Anger] at an output that was more than enough to awaken it, I willed myself to call upon it's name.

"[An-]"

"There you are." Her tentacles had reached my pelvis where my pubic hair was and proceeded to suck onto it, at the area where my connection with Ivanka was or basically, my most sensitive area.
