บท 33: Dancing in the Wind

"I'm off to work," Damien said as he opened a portal to one of the rebirth centers that needed his attention this time around.

"Have a good day," Aisha waved at him goodbye.

"Don't let anyone else in," Damien said as he scowled at his early visitors, "we already have too many pests inside the mansion."

"Boohoo!" Seth mockingly cried out.

"We will visit, with or without your approval," Cain added, "I need to keep watch on this human you are protecting. She might become the reason Hell turns around for the worse."

"Like that would ever happen," Damien scoffed, and then took a step forward and closed the portal.

Embers fluttered about as Damien left. They hung suspended in the air, like tiny butterflies burning as they accidentally hovered to an open flame. Aisha's eyes stared at it for a while, forgetting the fact that she had company with her.

'Miss Aisha seems to be blooming these past few days,' Carmilla held her notepad to Aisha.
