"Secure that, right there."
I look over at the parts and adjust the foldable mechanism. Nodding in appreciation to my mother, I continue to set up the sniper. The parts were hard to get a hold of since they were custom-made. I had to send over some blueprints to make the parts and to make it compact.
Anyone might ask how I am this good at coming up with original ideas...
Plagiarism.
A smirk appeared on my face.
Now, What I needed was an easy-to-carry yet powerful long ranged sniper rifle.
What game comes to mind when I hear compact weapons?
Mass effect.
Why? Just look at their pistols, Their small yet powerful pistols... They get even smaller when not used... And I don't mean that weirdly.
I was making a modified version of the M-92 Mantis, cus damn it, I love the model of that sniper.
The finished version would use Rifle ammo but it was good enough, I didn't want a lot of recoil on it anyway.
Since it was not designed to be a bolt action, I can fire at a fast rate in case there are multiple opponents.
It was perfect for me.
"You know, I thought you couldn't make a compact sniper rifle this small, but colour me surprised... But... you have been here for three days, maybe you should see the sun."
Three days? Yeah, I may have been here for a few days making my mecha-shift pistol-wakazashi and then setting up the sniper... Okay, I may need to go out.
It has been a week since I Destroyed Weiss in the FPS, meaning it's the end of the first week... I skipped two days of class and it's the weekend now.
...Well, aren't I in trouble?
Securing the black scope on the rifle, I channel my aura into it, willing it to fold into itself.
When it did so, I unfolded it again, just to teat if it worked. It did.
The metal was black and red after I painted them over. The magazine went inside the body of the weapon, leaving a flat surface underneath, The handle and the trigger could fold back, as well as the stock. The front part of the scope folded inside while the back side folded down.
The barrel folded inside and in the end, it left a comfortable carry block of metal... a very deadly block of metal.
Picking up the red pistol that had a handguard on the muzzle and an extended mag, I pocket in it a holster on my leg.
Reaching a little to the left, I grab the silver handgun that had a longer barrel than normal and Clock on the safety, placing it in my pouch, Summer tried to look into it but I moved away in time.
Ignoring her pout, I hold the sniper at my side and walk out of the smithy, heading towards my dorm room-
"Mister rose, I was expecting to meet you here, mind explaining to me why you missed two days of school?"
I stopped and looked at the source of the voice, ah... The bitch.
"I was working on something personal."
Her face remained impassive, I was almost impressed, almost. I was trying to piss her off, the teachers can't attack students, and students can defend themselves in case of danger.
What a convenience, isn't it?
As soon as I felt the familiar force trying to take hold of me, I did the only thing reasonable, I tried to fry the bitch.
She used her semblance which she seemed to rely heavily on, to block the half-hearted attack.
"You know, maybe it is not the best decision to use a semblance on the person at the slightest provocation, I may be young but I do have enough power to retaliate."
My impassive tone got a raised eyebrow from her. She looked unaffected by the attack, I could give her that much.
"And attacking a teacher is something you can get expelled for."
I scoffed at her.
"You should read the rules again, Goodwitch, using a semblance on a student, unless it is strictly for their health, is not allowed. I had the right to retaliate. Now, if you don't mind, Goodwitch, I have places to be."
Turning around, I started walking again, not wanting to be there anymore. What's the worst she can do? Have me fight against Pyrrha?
"You know... You don't have to be an..."
"Ass?"
"Yes, that, to anyone you don't like, you can be civil, at least."
I rolled my eyes at my mother, if I am civil, I will have women walking all over me in their "Righteous rage", better put them in their place.
All I had to do now was get to the shooting range...
I stopped abruptly.
How did she know that I was about to leave the room?
And she said, "I was expecting to meet you here"...
I reach down into my pocket and grab the school-issued scroll... Ozpin was spying on me, or the team leaders... Hmmm.
I need to learn how to use my magic eyes, pretty sure he wants my magic eyes.
Well, he will have to get through my fire first... Unless he had magic himself.
But that's impossible, Magic doesn't exist.
