บท 2: Training

After Adam finished his training the telekinesis he went around the house and realized that his Dad wasn't home and that's when he saw the note on the fridge.

"Adam, I had to leave because an emergency business trip I should be back September 15. There's 500 in cash on the counter and a couple blank checks if you need more. Be safe and love you son

Sincerely Ryan Reynolds"(Not The Ryan Reynolds sadly)

Since Adams dad wasn't here he decided to proceed with the some of the more questionable training. So to increase his regeneration and resistance to pain. He made a bed of knives by burying them into the ground in his back yard.

"This is gonna hurt a lot isn't it, but I have to do this so that when I get hurt in battle I don't go into shock which would end up getting me and those around hurt or worse"

With that Adam took a stopwatch with a rope around it and put in on and got ready to start running across the ten foot long runway of pain.

"3. 2. 1. Motherf*cker, Jesus chr*st , arghh"

Adam ran through the bed of knives though he fell twice and when he arrived at the end fell and passed out for about 10 minutes though not before hitting stop on the watch."

"Ughhh, maybe starting off so harsh wasn't the best of ideas"

Though he said that Adam looked at the stopwatch and saw that it read 6:42.37.

"So I took almost seven minutes to go through that and I passed out in the end. Good thing I only wore my underwear when I did that or else I would have ruined my clothes" said Adam

"Alright, it's 5:47 pm now I started the first run at 5:30 pm if it takes roughly 15 minutes per run I'll do it about 5 more times then it should be 7 pm."

Adam then ran through the bed of knives each time shaving about 15 seconds on the run and a minute or two on being knocked out. Eventually reaching 5:30 on the run and only 9 minutes being passed out and he had enough time till 7pm to run it run more time and so he did.

" Alright so I've shaved the time down to 5:12 and only 7 minutes being passed out. Now I need to go see if my regeneration applies to broken muscle fibers Aka working out"

An hour and a half later coveted in sweat and smiling like a mad man. Adam was ecstatic his regeneration worked on working out Albit it wasn't anything drastic like in the movies or anime's gaining 50 pounds of pure muscle like it is nothing from one workout no no no.

It would still take adam a while to get to that point, but the regeneration allowed him to take a ten minute rest and be back a full health though he had to absolutely destroy his muscles to ultimate failure for it to work. He still had to eat protein though to have something for the muscle to grow or he would lose at worse or they just wouldn't grow.

The good thing is that since he already had been working out for a couple of years he already had some muscle. Weighing in at 180 lbs and 6 foot 2 inches with brunette hair and green eyes.

"Okay, now that I know that my regeneration works on working out I'll start working out once in the morning and once in the evening. With upper body in the morning and lower body in the evening with telekinesis training before lunch after working out and regeneration training after lunch before working out. Then I will start planning for the apocalypse after I eat dinner." Adam stated

Adam then went and showered and then ate his dinner with a protein shake. He then went and sat at his desk with his notepad and started planning for when the apocalypse hits.

"Ok, so I going to need the four basics of survival

Food, fresh water, shelter, fire. Alongside other stuff such as weapons and future building materials in case I decide to settle down and make a survivors camp. Though that would require people I trust"

Adam decided to make a quick list of what he would need and stuff to use with his telekinesis and unlike the Web novel that he's read where the Mc would buy a bunch of food and make a shelter but then leave it never to return or use it he will.

Survival list:

Arrow tips

Arrows

Compound bow

Razor blades

Canned food

Bottled water

Wool blankets

Nails

Large washers

Large dagger

Backpack

Adam decided on top of the food and water he would try to find out which item on the list would go best with his telekinesis and it would also aid in his training. Since while the water helps with control and power it's to hard to hold the shape of the water and control multiple spheres at the moment though he's sure that will change quickly.

Checking his watch and seeing that it was 7:15 pm he figured there was enough time to go to the food market and the hardware store to buy all the things on his list.

It is a good thing he had a job that way he didn't need to use his dads checks or cash that way his dad doesn't notice.

Getting in his emerald green 1967 Ford mustang Shelby gt500 fastback and driving off to the stores to buy all the items on his list.

A/N let me know if I made any typos or if you have any ideas for the story I'm tying this on my phone so I've probably made a few mistakes, but I hope y'all like it.
